Thank you for your question.  Prop 65 is California’s Proposition 65 Warning Law.  There is a link to this law at the bottom of the Danby web site (www.danby.com).  This warning is required on all products that may contain specific chemicals and is designed to give warning to both the consumer and any disposal sites that a chemical may be present.  In this instance it refers to the copper in the power cord which contains a very small amount of lead.  Please note that this is completely self-contained within the power cord covering.

What's the deal with the WARNING! Prop 65? Is this a"normal"refrigerator warning? Or is it specifically for this Danby model?

Love the size and the little amount of room taken, while the inside has been designed to maximize space for food and drinks. Surprisingly amount of room in freezer with a handy pull out basket. Could not be happier with this product.

The Perfect fridge for small space living

Love having a decent size refrigerator and freezer combo in a smaller size unit!  We initially needed a temporary refrigerator as our larger unit was back ordered. However it will also be great to have this extra refrigerator when we are entertaining and need more space. It keeps the food at the right temperature.

Used this to replace one in our camper, turned out to be a great buy, works great! Did not have to enlarge the opening to put in! very pleased!

Really great fridge

I purchased this for my basement where I have my bar and big screen TV. I love having a bottom freezer and it wasn't easy to find one this size. 

Only drawback so far is the basket in the freezer. You have to be careful to ensure you lift it before pushing in or the door doesn't close.

Great extra refrigerator/freezer for us to keep in the garage; perfect size and space in both areas. Two improvements could be made: wish there was a light in the freezer that is on when the door is open, ideally one self in the fridge should move to allow taller bottles/items.

Great small fridge/bottom freezer combo

Received about 2 weeks ago . Packing was minimal  but adequate which I liked .  Nice interior room for its size (9.2cu ft)  and lightening in upper space is good.  It definitely is not made for warm locations as the condenser is built into the exterior walls ( static cooling ) Freezer gets plenty cold  (-10)  but the one thing "I"  don't like is the refrigerator doesn't seem to colder than 36-37 degrees   no matter where you put the setting ( temp spikes pretty quick if you dawdle) . I called their support line to ask about this, didn't answer . Submitted question on support forum and got back crap email asking me to submit  my issue again and listing  things covered in skimpy owners manual . But overall pleased  with looks and performance so far

We have a limited space in an apartment style kitchen. This Danby model is the only bottom freezer model which combined function and features we need. Its been in operation for several months and we still are happy about our choice. Keep making this one, Danby, as we will be back for another some day
