This is an OEM Whirlpool part at a fraction of the cost of what other sellers are charging.  It was shipped quickly.  Easy install and works perfectly.

Ice Maker

Delivered on time, packaged well. This is a Direct OEM replacement Whirlpool Ice maker. Only needed to swap my wire harness and the lever and bolt right in. Would definitely order again.

Direct OEM Replacement

Great complete replacement for the ice maker on my Whirlpool refer.  I have replaced various parts over the last 5-8 years but recently the teflon surface on the mold got corroded and caused the ice to stick which burned out the motor.  Decided to purchase this complete unit.  Be advised however that the plastic output fingers over the mold and the plastic bottom shroud on the new tray are different than mine.  I had the replace those with the ones from my old ice maker.  But everything fit together perfectly.  The model number matched my old ice maker but this new one must be a later incarnation.  Everything works fine however with some of the old plastic shrouds exchanged. Good replacement

I normally don't shop around when I need a part for one of my appliances, but when I was looking at $140 for a new ice maker, I decided to check out a few more options.  I didn't realize Wal-Mart sold this type of stuff, plus it was half the price. The unit has been installed for about 2 weeks now and working great.

If you need a replacement ice maker, buy this one and laugh at all the people who paid 2 times as much as you did, seriously. I'll be the first to admit, I do not think of Walmart when I think of Appliance replacement parts, but I will now based on this ice maker

100% Quality, 100% Cheaper than anyone else

We actually have a Maytag by name refrig. This was the exact replacement and works great. My wife found a you-tube video on how to remove and install the ice maker. Having watched the video it took me about 15 minutes to remove the old and install the new one. You need a 1/4" nut driver and a Philips screw driver. Makes ice great.

Whirlpool Ice Maker D7824706Q...

Easy to reinstall after removing our old ice maker. Works great. Glad we were able to purchase this from Walmart.com. It arrived quickly. Only 4 stars just because I have no idea about longevity. I will say, the old ice maker lasted 11 years so if this lasts close to that, it would deserve 5 stars.
