Hi Ela,  The 120 volt (U.S.) appliances are not compatible with 220/240 volt requirements of other countries (as well as vice versa). 
What many consumers are not aware of is the potential danger that differences in cycles/second can create. Where in the United States electricity is delivered at 60 Hertz (Hz), most other countries deliver the electricity at 50 Hz.   Running 60 Hz appliances in a 50 Hz environment forces the motor in your appliance to run at a slower speed, and can potentially cause immediate motor or operational failure. Not only is this failure not covered by any manufacturer's warranty, but has been known to result in electrical shortages and/or fires.

I love cooking and baking. I've been asking for a Kitchen Aid mixer for the last 2 years just so I could make more stuff with easy. My sister gave it to me this past Christmas and I cannot stop using it. It's so easy to use even for a beginner like me. I cannot wait to buy the attachments and really use it for everything. Even my 4 Year old daughter enjoys using it to make pastries.

I am 72 years old and I love to bake...especially breads.  My fingers have arthritis and my wrists hurt so kneading was getting really hard for me.  A friend surprised me with the gift of this stand mixer.  I LOVE it and use it for breads and all of my baked goods.  I don't know what I would do without it.  I love that when I bake sweet breads or cakes and muffins I can throw everything in to one bowl and just let it mix.  Everything comes out much better and so light.!!

My Favorite new toy!!

This was given to as a wonderful surprise gift about a month ago. Now I look for any excuse to use it. I bake and decorate cakes and cupcakes a lot and this mixer has made it like 10x easier make all the elements I need. It also has freed up my hands so I can clean up my kitchen as I let things fully mix.

I received my KitchenAid mixer a couple weeks ago. I have made cookies twice, and a cake. I can't wait to make other dishes!  I guess my old beater was not working as well as I thought, because everything has been delicious that I have made with this! I love it!

I can't believe how many years I got by with hand mixing and sore arms when all I needed was this! It's so easy to use and mixes better than I thought it would. It saves so much time one mixing and cleanup. I cannot say enough great things about this mixer!

Dream Mixer

I use this for making breads & biscuits.  The dough hook is great because hand mixing these types of dough are really hard on your arm.  I love the style and smooth lines of the unit;  no sharp edges; very easy to clean.  Just wipe it down with a damp cloth. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

I am very pleased with my stand mixer!

I got it for my wedding 4 years ago, and I couldn't be happier. I'm a professional cook and got pregnant 4 years ago and became a stay at home mom, I really didn't want to loose all my knowledge and practice in the kitchen. I use it almost every day and after 4 years is still in great shape (other than cosmetic scratches, it works like the first day). I've noticed it gets a little warm after an hour of use, but if that's the only problem I would take it any day. 
Because of the amounts of food or the cakes I bake I wish I had a 5 QT. Or bigger but it still works for me. 
I love this and the day it stops working I would definitely buy a new one

I always had a kitchen aid mixer. They are well built and very efficient! You can feel the weight of it and know it is a superior mixer. I've had kitchen aid appliances as well many years and never been disappointed in your products. Upon relocating i was using a hand mixer and it burned out while making a cake. I told my daughter how I need my kitchen aid mixer and she surprised me and bought me one!!!!! I love love love it!!!!!! It mixes efficiently and so fast... you can hear the steady whir of the motor and know you've got the best!!!!
