Needed a bed for the guest room.  This daybed is beautiful and made from quality materials.  My husband was surprised how heavy duty the posts and iron were. I bought the pop up trundle also so that guests can have the option of 2 twins OR a king!  Cymax's price and quick shipping were GREAT!

Hillsdale Madison Daybed

One washer was missing for the bedframe, but I was able to have it be on the back side, where it would not be obvious.  since the vertical legs had minor flaws (visible joints), it was worth making an explicit decision prior to assembly, where these will face.  The two front legs are interchangeable, as are the two back legs.  It's great that the kit includes the metric allen wrenches needed for assembly.  There are lots of bolts on this, so I ended up using a cordless driver on low torque to ease the hand work and not strip the threads.  Once assembled the bed looks great and the standard twin mattress fit correctly.  At 5ft 10", I was able to sleep comfortably for a few nights on this without feeling too claustophobic.

Nice Looking Bed

Bought this for my daughter for the spare room in her town home.  The quality is fabulous��it looks beautiful in her room and I would love to buy one for my own spare room (however, I have already had a different one for four years)��..would definitely purchase one again�...

Absolutely Love It!!!

Everything was received in undamaged form.  Set up of bed was easy for my son-in-law and was done in a timely manner.  I am impressed with the quality and love the cherry color.  Am working on doing my own bedspread.  The Nectar mattress was received in 2 days so it seems Nectar has solved their delivery delay problems.  Thanks Walmart.  Everything's working out fine in my new bedroom!

Beautiful daybed

I love the bed, but I had difficulty assembling the support poles through the holes on bed frame.  It's as though I was sent 2 same bed frames.  There were two positions we coould not pass the poles through. It seems to be a bad manufacturing defect, lack of quality control.  It's a shame it was too much trouble to pack up and return to store.  Unfortunately we were too far along on assembling the bed, when we came upon this problem.

Daybed Review

Am not impressed with this Daybed. Pieces were missing. Could not get a hold of anyone. The legs and arm sections keep coming lose and those were not the pieces missing. Would not recommend.
