Fish Fryer Set is perfect for various frying. I fry my chicken wings, fries and patties. Unfortuantely the thermometer was missing from the package, it must of been repackaged. Other than that it's a perfect unit.

This was bought for my son-in-law for his birthday-he has used it multiple times since 06/14/2014 and he LOVES it. He uses the pot/pan on top of his stove and on the burner provided. He thanks us at least 2 times a week for getting this for him.

WORKS GREAT NO PROPLEMS A MUST BUY FOR EVERYONE

10-Quart Propane Fish Fryer Set

Works great! Holds a gallon of oil and the burner heats it up pretty fast. The included thermostat really helped out, you need hot oil but don't want to start a fire, and just as importantly watching the temp when you add food to make sure it doesn't drop too low.

I found that something short of a full gallon of oil is better, and fry smaller batches for better results (so the temp doesn't dip so much).

It would get 5 stars if the pot had a pour spout for retrieving the oil, and a lid would be nice too.

Good fryer for a good price

I ordered this the other day & just received it. (just as promised) I gotta tell ya' it's nicer than I expected (considering the price & free shipping) went together in no time ,hooked up a tank & played with the regulator just to get a feel for it. Then I boiled a pot of water to test the thermostat & it seem to be within + or - 10 deg. or so.
Just fine for frying fish. Now I need to get some oil & cook with it.
If I run into any issues I'll come back & edit this review , but from what I've seen so far I think this was a pretty good buy.

I worked at homedepot, walmart have the same item, but walmart cost much lee, hd cost online over fourty dollar, and walmart in store same day pick up, hd wait two to three days or more for store pick up

this is a great product

Suits our need to occasionally fry food outside. Seems durable enough, decent quality in the construction, not complicated. No complaints from the cook (my husband). The only thing I would say to the manufacturer is to include a lid of some sort.

I tried and tried and tried to hookup the propane hose into the burner and it just won't go in. It does go in a couple of turns but when I use pliers to tighten the nut, it comes loose. Wasted 1 hour of my life and it still won't go in so I never got to use it. The burner is held together to the frame by one little nut and I don't think this would hold up in the long run. I returned this and will go to a sporting goods store to purchase another one.

Don't buy. Other reviews are false.
