Great detail

When our friends 2-year old daughter named Sterling was diagnosed with a rare brain cancer, we were all devastated. Watching the medical surgeries that didn't work, the emotional toll it took on the parents who practically lived at the hospital, and this aggressive tumor that just kept coming back, it was just so sad. When she finally passed, the loss was immeasurable. Her 5-year old brother was really hurt and confused. So about 6 months later I saw this statue in your catalog, and it reminded me SO much of her. We made a special little garden with a couple of rose bushes and put the statue in the middle of it. She had left some little plastic toys at our home, and after we made the garden, her brother said, "Let's put the toys in her skirt ... sissy would have done that."

She loves it, she has beautiful landscaping both in the front of her house and out in the backyard.

This statue was bought to memorialize a special little 3 year old girl named Sterling who lived with us. She was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive brain cancer in August and was gone by November! I bought this statue to celebrate and remember this little angel! It is in our backyard with a memorial garden all around to say we loved her! It is a perfect and precocious image for a wonderous soul!

I was going to put it in my yard but when I saw and felt the finish I thought that it might do better under a covered porch.  Wanted to put bird seed or water in her apron but it's very small and finally bought a very small plant that I can put in the apron.  I guess I will leave her on the covered porch to protect her finish and put small seasonal things in her apron, like small fall leaves and small Christmas decorations.  Thought about putting fairy light that run on sola power or a tea candle.  I still like her but the finish is keeping me from putting her out in the open.
