dimensions on site list it as 6 inches but the one i received wasn't even an inch. i know they are compressed for shipping, but i can only hope that it will eventually fluff up or return it. i think i'll do the later.

The Walmart pricing and delivery are good. The futon is name brand and well made with a real cotton shell. No problems here ....

No problems here...

I received a nice futon mattress for the price that I paid. The quality seems to be pretty good for the price however it is a bit shorter than I was expecting from what the advertised measurements are. The side panel, from bottom to top, does measure 6" however the thickness is more like 4" - 4 1/2 inches. It may fluff up to 6" if try really hard. I bought it for my almost 4 year old child's loft bed so it fits our needs and he seems to like it. I did put a plush mattress pad over the futon for a bit more comfort. I have owned futons before so I knew what to expect. If you are thinking about buying your first futon mattress I would suggest you try one out in a store first. They are firm, have no spring support, and mat down with use. But for a child's loft bed the plus side is no springs to bounce him into the ceiling, he is only 35 lbs so he doesn't need a lot of support, and the price is cheap so the mattress is easily replaceable. Over all I am happy with my purchase.

Nice cheap futon

My only complaint was that the product description did not mention having to let the mattress air out for 48 hours prior to using. Other than that, it's very comfortable!

Good mattress

Did not know that this would be a very flat mattress. It looked much thicker on the picture but felt as almost nothing there when I slept on it. Another prove that it is impossible to tell from the picture.

thought it would be more comfortable

I bought this for a day bed. I didn't realize that I was buying a futon mattress, even though it says it in the name. I thought I was purchasing a "twin" mattress, that is what the description said. For a futon, it might be perfect, but it is extremely thin and you can feel the bars on the day bed through the mattress. Since it came shrink wrapped, it would be nearly impossible to put back in the box to return, so I kept it. I may end up using it as a topper on the mattress I will eventually have to buy for sheer comfort. It was only $99. so not a bad price for what you get.

From the picture you would expect it to be fairly thick but it isn't. it doesn't have the type of cover you would expect and it is so heavy that it is hard to work with

Not exactly what I expected

This product did not serve the purpose if what I needed. Not a very comfortable mattress and was smaller than a queen size.

Not a useful product

the photograph of the product is not representative of what i received. the mattress that i received is not even an inch thick. the foam alone should be 1 inch! the outer cover is loose and has plenty of room where the stuffing should be. dimensions listed on the site show it to be 6 inches thick and the photo shows a nice plump mattress that fills the cover completely. i can feel the slats of my futon through the mattress while i sit or lay on it.

don't buy it

This "mattress" was so thin and flimsy even for a futon mattress, the thickness is about the equivalent of putting 2 standard comforters together and there's no way I could sleep on this. Not worth the price at all, I will be returning this item. However, delivery was very fast using the site to store option and pick up from the store was simple.
