Love them! They match my media room cabinet and are very sturdy since base so large. I did not have the issue of splitting wood, I lined up the screws with the predrilled holes and it was smooth assembly.

I installed this Stands a week ago and they are well build theres no move if you tries to shake them, they fit my need and budget!!! also they match the task chair color!!!!

couldn't get sides togeher on one stand.
Terrible directions. Suggest you drop this product!

Ok let me tell you how this goes,
When I took them out of the box, I read the instructions, and they said to be careful not to over tighten the screws to tight, so I was very careful when I started to tighten them but there is no way that you can tighten the screws enough to hold the product in place without the cheap wood cracking.

I would not recomend this product because it is impossible to assemble it without the wood cracking. Now I have two stands with two big long cracks in the front and it makes then so ugly.
