Easy to install in Sheetrock. Lath and plaster walls are never easy to cut. A great value. You could spend a lot more for the sound. Used for rear ceiling 5.1 home theater in a small room. Perfect.

I was planning to take out the internal speaker and reinstall it in place of the Boston Accoustic speakers in our home audio system, but the internal speaker does not separate, it is one piece.

I am planning on cutting out the center portion with a saber saw to get it to fit.
