Setup

When this unit originally came out the retail was $999 and it was worth it then.  The Wireless Subwoofer also has RCA jacks if you need to use instead of the Wireless Transmitter.  The sound quality is very good and well worth the price you pay.  Good solid sound system.  You will need to purchase all wiring for the speakers as they do not come with the units.  Good Luck

Great Sounding System for the money spent

Thoughts from a veteran Recording Artist. This Ref Theater Pack is a perfect ensemble for ceiling mounted effects systems like ATMOS & Autos 3D surround setups. Mount these as per Dolby Labs suggestions and these gems will catapult your surround system into the stratosphere of Hollywood magic! Just like you experience at an ATMOS commercial Theater. If used as the needed 5 ceiling speakers, they'll have no problems matching up with the ear level speakers in the rest of your setup. Moreover, the small subwoofer can also be ceiling mounted next to the top center speaker aka Voice of God channel. This will ensure your upper surround speakers deliver the LFE subwoofer range that's critical for the realism of the voice of God Center channel. Knowing that ATMOS DTS-X & AUROS 3D are the future of surround sound? These speakers are a shoe-in match for upgrading a 5.1 or 7.1 pre-existing Home Theater setup. Just look out for surround sound impact so real it'll raise the hairs on the back of your neck. Not sure there's a better solution for ceiling mounted fx speakers without cutting hole in your ceiling & mounting in-ceiling speakers. By the way, in-ceiling speakers (IMO) don't deliver 3d sound like these gems. Buy em' mount em' and blast em' ! ~ peace

ATMOS DTS-X AUROS 3D Setup

I installed this system inside a boat saloon paired with an older Dennon amplifier.  The sound is amazing for both videos and music.  I highly recommend it.

Great system

I am a small theater builder.. I used the Klipsch Ref Theater Pack for my own system, I used other big name speaker manufacturers in past builds, but I broke away from my go to's and used Klipsch for mine.....

I was not disappointed!  the sound was clean and full,,, the bass was low and rich (for an 8" cab!)  after I balanced the EQ on the main speakers and dialed in the LFE..I was very happy with the sound quality
I run Two  wireless 8" sub to really tighten up the low end spectrum... I run three formats 16mm 35mm film and LCD projector ..these Klipsch speakers keep up with all three formats and then some!  well done!!

awesome sound for the money...

Excellent sound crisp and clean. Just what I was looking for. Paired with a Denon AVR S960, this system replaced a 30+ year old Bose Lifestyle 12. Sound is far better than I expected.

I had a Bose accoustimas 10 set up originally. Though it sounded great and the big sound from a little box was well received it did not have that certain sound quality I was looking for. These were the perfect replacement a little bigger and heavier but not obtrusive.(to me anyway, do not ask my wife!) They look outstanding with the wire copper strung speakers showing. Would have loved these more in white. I wish they made the magnetic covers in white at least. May decide to paint the covers white if I find another set.

GREAT CHOICE!!

I bought these 2 years ago to pair with a Sony DTS590 5.2 Receiver for a smaller living area. In short, you can't beat them. Accurate sound reproduction, solid construction and that the grilles off for a touch of class. I always get questions and compliments about my setup.

Easy way to impress

Item advertised as “new” but it was a return. I know this because one speaker was not wrapped. Plus on the power supply box it has written “customer return”

We just moved in to our new house and I'm finally getting my home theater set up.  These are NOT wireless speakers!  Each speaker needs to be wired to a separately-purchased amplifier.  There is no power input on the speakers to set them on the side of the room without running wires along the floor or ceiling.  In my open room, I can't use these without laying a throw rug across the floor alongside the sofa.

I have no idea of the quality of sound because they're not usable.
