Yes, this dvd player comes with a remote.

I bought a horrible laptop from Walmart once and returned it within a week.  Customer service said returns on electronics was 30 days.  I&#39;d call your local Walmart and ask if that is the company-wide policy and if it includes refurbished DVD players.

This is not hard to hook up and get working.

I could not get it to work.  My smart TV does not have the same rca hookups as the DVD player so I never got it to work.  TV would not recognize the DVD player.

It has the 3 standard cables, yellow, white, and red.  Just connect them between the DVD player and TV input.

How hard is this player to hook up and get working, some can be really hard.  We have LG TV set

I usually have trouble with electronics the first few times using them trying to figure out how to. But this was made so simple for this old lady. It does not take up so much room. I love it and would reccomend it to my friends.

Good quality for the price I bought a two year warranty plan and basically got a guaranteed disc player for the children (who are rough on such things) for less t Han 20 dollars. Shipped fast and kids had fun picking up on self locking storage at the Walmart.

Works perfect, I needed a DVD player for our Lake residence.  $13 and direct ship to Wal Mart at no cost, works perfect.  I highly recommend this player.  I read other reviews before ordering, one comment that stood out, if there is a problem just return it.  Wal-Mart has always been great with this.  I've ordered from other web sites and returning a product is "difficult".  Bottom line, great deal!!

DVD Player

I bought this because I wanted a simple DVD player for my sister. I gave it to her as an early Christmas gift so she could finally lay in bed and watch all her favorite Christmas shows when she wanted! It was easy to h9k up and very easy to operate! Great picture and sound! Thanks for making it so easy!

I've been searching for a DVD player for a year.  They were either too expensive or required a fancy new televisions.  I have an old Phillips original flat screen that weighs about 100 lbs.  This refurbished DVD player fit all of my requirements.  The television needs the red, yellow and white jacks to hook it up as that is the only way it will connect.  The price was fantastic, it was delivered much sooner than I expected, it is small so it doesn't take up a lot of space, no weird bells and whistles for me to fumble through that I will never use, though it does have some features I might try, like repeat if I want to binge watch something, and it will also play CDs.  It works perfectly, I have played several DVDs on it already.  The only complaint I have is the remote is teeny tiny, 1 1/2" x 4".  But I can live with that.  I can finally watch movies again without the constant interruption of commercials!

thrilled with this DVD player

I bought this Sanyo DVD player for my parents, tried it before giving it to them and it worked perfectly...remote control and all!! It played store bought as well as home made DVD's and experienced no problems whatsoever....it worked as expected. The casing had a few cosmetic issues but remember, it's a refurbished unit. I think overall this is a terrific buy for the money....I recommend it.
