[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our house holds the limited blueray live concert of Arashi 5x20. The speaker brings the concert to the home. The amazing bass rumble, the rear firing speaker blaring, and the main delivering the amazing melody. The sound was exquisite filling the whole living room. The set up was simple and it was literally plug and play. We attached the speaker to the ARC HDMI port and it will turn on with the TV to deliver the sound needed without needing to connect or manually turn it on. I linked the device to my Samsung phone through Smart things and the many functions it provides is fun to use. Simply tapping the phone to the main speaker I can play the music I was playing directly to the speaker. We have Alexa, but now we get another Alexa we can use as the speaker can be used in the living room. In love with theses speakers and we cannot go back to the old tv speakers as they were supremely inferior to the quality we have now.

Amazing sound, really brings movies and TV to life all around you! Extremely easy to install and even easier to setup with a Samsung TV. Link via Bluetooth or WiFi. The built in Alexa feature is awesome and allows you to easily play music. With smart things you can also easily connect directly to the speakers with your phone and play music or video. This setup has it all, sleek form factor and looks, amazing sound quality,  easy to setup and feature packed. You couldn't ask for a better surround sound system!

Amazing surround sound!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to add this soundbar to my television. The TV sound was good, but this took it to the next level. I appreciate how quick and easy installation was, and how easy the remote is to use. The sound is amazing! This is my first time having Dolby Atmos and it's so worth it. I have watched a few movies with my family and it's helped us to feel like we are at the theater again which is something we truly miss. The surround sound really immerses you in the sound just like at a theater. I was worried about the look, but the speakers are actually visually appealing too so it doesn't take away from the feel of my den which I love for esthetic purposes. Overall, this sound bar was an amazing addition to our home theater and my entire family has been loving the features.  My husband and son love to game, so I've been hearing lots of very realistic sounding races and war missions. My husband in particular thinks it's taken his gaming to a new level because he feels like he's "in" the game. My son also seems to really love the game pro mode while I have been playing around with the voice control to turn it down a little after a few hours of continuous gaming ha!  My favorite feature might be that I can easily play music on it from my phone by just setting it on top of the bar. It's really made cleaning days feel like the disco. I'm so glad I took the leap and got this.

True home theater experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sound quality on the HW-Q70T is one of the best I have heard. The sound is deep and rich. The design of the sounder is simple, but refined. The crosshatch design on the main unit is attractive and the subwoofer is solid. The set up of the soundbar couldn't have been any easier. It was intuitive and the instruction manual really was not even needed if you've ever set anything up like this before. The HW-Q70T is easy to use for both me and my wife, who is not a technophile, but loves to play her music. The HW-Q70T immediately added itself to my home Alexa speakers and my wireless network with little effort after downloading the associated Samsung app. I have one other soundbar and without a doubt this one is better than that one.

Absolutely iNCReDiBLe Sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Prior to purchasing this HW-Q950T Soundbar, we were simply using the speakers built into the flat-screen TV in our bedroom.  This soundbar has really exceeded our expectations.
Set up was a breeze as the provided documentation was simple and easy to follow. The Samsung Smart Things app can be utilized to update the soundbar's firmware. There are four HDMI inputs and a digital optical port.  One of the HDMI ports supports ARC which allows the soundbar to communicate with any ARC compatible television.  Using this option allows the TV to turn the power of the soundbar on/off and the volume control on the TV will also adjust the volume of the soundbar.
As for the sound quality, the Q950T is very powerful and the clarity is outstanding.  The 9.1.4 speakers really create an enveloping sound that is amazing.  The wireless rear speakers are placed on the night stands on both sides of our bed and, while the soundbar itself can be mounted to the wall with the included hardware, we chose to simply place it on top of our dresser just under the television.  The 8 inch subwoofer packs a lot of punch that is responsive and honors the original movie or television show.  We conveniently placed it on the floor next to the dresser.
Finally, this soundbar supports Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Atmos, DTS and DTS:X for 3D True Surround Sound.  It also supports Bluetooth and can be controlled by using your voice with Alexa support.
I highly recommend this soundbar for any audio enthusiast.

Perfectly Powerful Soundbar

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Q950T delivers a wide soundstage with balanced audio throughout the room. It has more than enough punch to feel like you're in a small movie theater. This Soundbar is massive yet slim enough to sit in front of most TV's. Bonus: a wall mount is included in the box! As soon as I opened the Smart Things app it recognized the Q950T and easily added it. If you prefer more visual controls Smart Things offers just that along with being Alexa enabled.  I listed to a few high-quality Dolby Atmos demos and made minor adjustments to the factory settings. I then watching Godzilla and Ready Player one, I almost forgot I was in the living room and not my dedicated home theater. Sound separation is amazing, the center channel projects clear vocals no matter what volume it's at. In a dedicated theater you want to feel the bass not hear it, the Q950T sub does an excellent job of that. Dolby Atmos and DTSx affects are very challenging to accomplish whiteout physical speakers in your ceiling. Somehow this amazing Soundbar pulls it off well, the timing of reflective audio and clarity is immersive!!!  When listing to music you'll appreciate hearing sounds you may not have heard before. It's nearly impossible to listen at max volume though very clear it's just that loud. The wide soundstage really shows out when listing to music, especially live concerts! Play some Hip-Hop or EDM and you'll feel like you're at a Nightclub in NY or Miami! I've added a few pics to show the size differences between the Q950T and their mid-tear Q70T. Though it's large it's not an eyesore or intrusive. My only small gripe is that the display is on top, why???? Everything else is near perfection!  You will not be disappointed with the Q950T, it's worth the premium!

WORTH IT

There is nothing quite like separate wired speakers for a true theater experience, but the wired speaker setup does not always fit in every room.  I needed a great sounding speaker system without all the wires and speakers for my master bedroom. I have had several different setups, but I am finally happy with the Samsung Q70t 3.1 ch soundbar.  The system provides room-filling sound in a small package.  The soundbar is designed to be small and thin, so it looks great under large flat-screen TVs, such as the Samsung QLED TVs, or in my case, the Samsung Frame.  If you have a Samsung QLED TV, then this is the ideal soundbar for you.  It is designed to work perfectly with a QLED TV and the artificial intelligence built into the QLED models.  The QLED models have the ability to auto-calibrate the sound from the soundbar to the room environment and what is playing on the TV at the the moment.  If you don't have a QLED model TV, the soundbar still uses adaptive sound to what is playing on the TV at the moment, but does not take into account the room environment.  The soundbar sounds great, and the wireless subwoofer provides more than enough bass for a medium to a large room with no distortion.  One of the greatest things about this soundbar is the ability to hear dialogue clearly.  So many of the soundbars I have owned claim to have this ability but don't.  With the q70T, the dialogue is clear, even in loud background action sequences or heavy bass moments.  The soundbar also produces a lifelike surround sound effect even with just 3.1 channels.  The Dolby Atmos feature is a nice add-on and does enhance the sound when present, but it in no way equals a true surround setup.  Overall, the sound is, rich, full, and clear.  The additional sub makes a big difference in rounding out the sound. All of the sound, including the bass can be adjusted within the Samsung Smart Things app.  Using the app also unlocks additional features if you have a Samsung phone such as Tap to play, which allows you to tap the phone against the speaker to transfer audio or video to the TV. The soundbar also has Alexa built in, which is great if you don't already have an Alexa in the room. For me, it was redundant becuase I have a Fire TV Cube that I use to control the TV.   Overall, this is a great soundbar, and at the price point, it is one of the best on the market.

Exceptional Sound at Exceptional Price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The HW-Q950T sound-bar is one of a kind and a force to be reckoned with.  I did not encounter any issues with setup and installations  when I followed the manual verbatim.  The wireless speakers, sound-bar and subwoofer all connected flawlessly.  Note: You must connect the Subwoofer first, then the left and right surround speakers and the sound bar last in that sequence for the system to paired correctly.  Otherwise; if you just plug it in randomly, you will spend an hour trying to get the system to connect and paired manually.  As far as sounds goes, the Q950T delivers the very best sound that a sound bar can offer.  Dolby Atmos and DTS:X formats are essentially why I loved this sound bar. It feels so surreal watching movies and I enjoyed the  immersive 360 deg effects from the discrete surround sounds in the sound stage. The sound bar is able to get super loud without succumbing to distortions. The bass is deep and is great for action movies with explosions scenes or horror films with scary things creeping up behind or above you.  Listening to music can be an immersive experience as well like at a symphony or opera. This sound bar can play any genres of music with well balanced and true to life precision sounds.  Each drum beat, key and notes as well as vocal are accurate and clear.  You can reminisce over classical music or jamming out to your favorite pop songs. Unfortunately, this is the first time that I'm disappointed in Samsung when it comes to the design and quality of material. Despite it being a flagship and premium sound-bar, it's made mostly out of plastic and fabric material which makes it look cheap and a step down from Samsung's other sound bar that use metal grilles. I own the Samsung N950 earlier model  and the metal grilles and solid built stands out when compared to the Q950T. Furthermore, Samsung's decided to put the LED screen on the top side of the soundbar this year was also a bad choice.  You have to stand directly in front of the sound bar to make adjustments, see output format or volume level which is very inconvenience since most people sit down while watching tv/movies. Last but not least, The decision to use fabric instead of metal grilles like its previous model not only makes the sound bar looks inferior and low quality but also a lint, dirt and pet hair magnet and a scratch post for cats. It is very hard to keep clean unless you constantly run a lint roller over it every hour.  It seems like an after thought on Samsung part
