Will these work with a USB port only? My 3.5mm audio jack is broken on my laptop.

I ordered and took back to store. The volume was very low even with the volume on my computer set to highest setting.

Do they have high volume? Can the people in the back of the room hear loud and clear.

For the price this is great value, it is fairly loud and does not distort.
It's biggest asset though is it is powered off my computer through the usb port and therefore means I can take it any where in the world and not have to worry about different power supplies or voltage changes.

A universal sound system.

I got these for my 15 yr old son to match the blue LED fans on the gaming PC he recently built. He loves them. The USB power is nice so there is less cord clutter. Both the USB and audio can be plugged inconspicuously in back of the PC. There is a volume dial on the back of one speaker and a switch to turn the LED on and off. I got the red version for my other son. The red LED is a bit more subdued. The blue version is very bright. But can be turned off with the switch. The sound is great for such a compact speaker. They fit nicely beneath monitors.

Nice sound, compact

I just got these a week ago and I had second thoughts because they were tiny but when I plugged them in and listened to some music it came out crystal clear sound and definitely worth the price

Great things come in small packages

I bought these speakers for my 14 year old son's computer. He absolutely loves them! He says they are the best speakers that he's ever had for his computer.

I've had them for about a week or so and they definitely make my kids' shows sound bassier. I brought them out to the kitchen yesterday for cleaning purposes and I could feel my music (heavy metal) in the floor. After a while, I switched up music styles to Trance and the bass was almost too much to bear. I thought that the speakers were going to bust, so i messed with my phone's equalizer and managed to get it to tolerable levels. Be careful, kids.

These speakers have good sound for their small size. The LED lights look really cool next to my son's gaming PC - which also has red lights. Great value for the price.

Very satisfied

Nice looking. Loved idea of no power cord but powered through UBS port. Blue lights on base were very bright and could not be turned off. So bright it was annoying to the entire household.
The speakers had a hiss or frying sound that was always heard just above the sound of the audio. Speaker volume wasnot as loud as the set they replaced. Not sure what was going on with them. Returned to store the next day and bought a Logitech Z130 set for the same price off the shelf. I was very pleased with the replacement set. They had a great sound, can be turned off at speaker and volume control is much better. No hiss, no fancy but annoying blue lights glaring all the time.

Got a bad set

I had ordered these same speakers about three month earlier, they were great. Somehow I got a loose connection between the speakers and lost sound in the left one, because of this I ordered the same speakers again which is these. The sound from these is nothing like the sound from first set. These were returned
