I mean, sure, it seems pretty good and functions pretty well. At first. I've had this mouse for about half a year, and everything was going well until it started going wack. Whatever battery I was using, it popped out. That would have to make me pull out the battery and put it in again. Very annoying, at worst every 30 seconds. After that, if you didn't move the mouse long enough, when it goes idle, only for 4 seconds, it just turns off. This is even more annoying than the other problem. In fact, it became idle 4 times just typing this whole paragraph. Insane. I wouldn't recommend buying this. It just happened again, right after typing the title of this. And this sentence. So frustrating.

Goes wack after it gets old

Boy this mouse works differently depending on your machine's operating system. My son originally had it on his Windows 8.1 gaming computer until he got a gaming mouse. Since I had a wired mouse, I moved it to my Windows 7 laptop. I constantly got double clicks when pressed once, impossible to move mail messages with accuracy, etc. I made sure there was no specialty driver or software that needed to be installed. I also made sure the Microsoft "generic" driver it was using was up to date. Frustrated I called Jasco to get technical support. Boy that was a wasted and added frustration. There solution was either to move it back to the old machine or upgrade the operating system for my laptop to Windows 8.1 so it would work the same. Upgrade for a mouse!!!!! I have never seen a mouse depend upon the operating system to work correctly. The tech support person provided no troubleshooting assistance on maybe tweaking the settings, or checking if the driver was up to date. No just call Microsoft or see if the mouse was still under warranty and get one I wanted. So if you have a Windows 8.1 machine, maybe try this mouse at your own risk. If you don't, then don't buy it.

Works Differently on Win 8.1 vs 7

I made an account here just to give this review, and if 0 stars was a possibility this mouse would get it.

First off, the aesthetic of a mouse should not warrant a purchase. Functionality should always be above aesthetic. I appreciate the idea behind this gift I received but it's not good because it "looks good."

Second, the response on this mouse is absolutely terrible. Its as if it thinks your responses are optional, i.e. a single click equals two clicks for the mouse or no click at all. I'm quite literally smashing the button just to get a click. The mouse also likes to lag across screens and freeze. It's impossible to click and drag with this. I'm a digital artist and I use multiple programs to create pieces including photoshop. This mouse makes it impossible to get any work done. If you want to click and drag to create a box selection, you have to fight with it and smash the button just to get it to work. I thought maybe it was the batteries, 3 pairs of duracells later, it's definitely not the battery. The mouse has now gotten so bad to the point I'm forced to use my drawing tablet as my mouse. GE, stick to appliances and stop making computer products, this is god awful.
