I purchased an Epson VS410 in 2011 on behalf of my employer. This projector is an obvious descendant of that little workhorse. Optically, it shares most of the same qualities (mostly positive) as the VS410. Epson has replaced electronically controlled keystone correction with a manual lever on the EX5260. The projector is small and light, throws a bright image on the screen, and connects easily to my MacBook Pro as well as my iDevices. The iOS app could be improved a bit, but overall it is a capable addition. The networking capabilities of the EX5260 are impressive, and allow it to be permanently mounted on a ceiling with full control of the projector. The firmware also allows group networking, with full moderation. 

I especially appreciate that, when used portably, the Epson can be shut down and packed away without waiting for a cooling fan to do its work. This makes it very convenient for presentations where the presenter has to arrive and depart "on the fly."

Set up might have been easier with a manual dedicated for the model and I wish there was iProjection software for Linux (Ubuntu), but I am completely satisfied with the capabilities of this machine to project XGA (1024 x 768) mirrored video/audio (a conversion for 3.5mm to RCA not included) for presentation and demonstration of software use in a mixed Macintosh/Windows/Linux training environment. I went with the XGA model because I have an empty 4:3 wall space I was wanting to use. I was not looking for wireless capabilities but I was pleasantly surprised by them. I will use the VGA cable most of the time and reserve my LAN bandwidth for internet and fileshare access, but that is definitely a great feature for the road. I almost went with the model that does not come with the Wi-Fi module but I figured it was better to get the highest end XGA model available when the price difference was negligible.

New to Projectors

I am so pleased with my Epson EX5260 Projector.  The color is crisp while being projected 30 feet away.  The wireless features and the remote control took it over the top in regard to convenience to the presenters. I highly recommend this equipment to other businesses.

This is a review for the Epson EX5260 Wireless projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.  This is a great projector. This projector is simple to setup and displays a nice and bright picture. It is also very light and easy to transport. Setting up the projector even with wifi was a no brainer. It has a quick connect which is great if you do a presentation through your tablet or phone. You just scan a code with your camera and it connects. 

         Not only is the setup wonderful, but the picture and sound are both clear and crisp.  It's 3600 looms so even with lights on or during the day it still showed clearly. The speaker make this a higher quality projector right from the start. Another positive element of this projector is the fact that it does not overheat easily. During my testing of this projector I ran it for at least two hours each time and it only got warm, not hot like other projectors I have used. For anyone looking for a quality, well rounded projector, it checks all the boxes.

Before we even get to the performance, they thought to include a carrying case. This is awesome if you plan to use it at multi locations as I do.

This is a great light weight projector that really gets the job done. The colors are bold, bright and vivid. Great for displaying power point presentations. I would have liked a HDMI to have been provided but all the basic cables for computer connect were there. Overall very pleased with this projector!

Recently I had had the chance to review the Epson EX5260. 
I just had finished my meeting and I was so excited to start writing this review to let you know how easy it was to prepare and use the new Epson EX5260 Projector. It is pretty much self explanatory to set up. I did need a little help from my husband. But, I am not very good with electronics. After he had helped me out the rest was easy. I love this projector. It has great color and clarity. I had used my laptop to connect to the projector which was perfect for my powerpoint presentation for my meeting. It came with a Usb cable, remote control and a VGA cable to connect to a computer or laptop, a WiFi connector to connect into a USB slot and a carrying case. The projector ran perfectly during the entire hour and a half meeting.  The speakers were clear and louder then some other projectors I have used. I was pretty amazed. 
This projector is made for business that are in an office, home or for on the go meetings. This projector is not only great for meeting and presentations but can also be used for training. You can use in dim or brightly lit areas. Especially the offices with all the big windows. No more trying to find a darker area. The Epson EX5260 has been the easiest projector yet that I have used and set up. You will not be disappointed in this for your business.

Great for all businesses

This is a review for the Epson EX5260 Wireless projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. I had been looking at this model for a while now and I am so glad I got the chance to try it before I bought it. There are so many features in this projector I don't know where to start I guess the best features is it has 3000 lumens in color brightness and 3000 lumens in white brightness. Another feature I like it the different ways you can use this projector, for instance, it comes with stuff to hook it up via wifi and cords to hook it up to a computer. It is HDMI ready and you can also use USB. It works with laptops and phones. It's really a good projector for so many reasons for business use you can take it on the go it comes with its own carry bag with a strap. It's also great for personal use like to watch movies with the family etc. I highly recommend this projector Epson is a great company and all the products that I own or have purchased from them have never let me down. 
Other features are it has a manual Keystone Correction Adjusts vertically and horizontally to easily achieve a perfectly rectangular image  XGA Resolution
1024 x 768 resolution. Also, it is USB plug and play and the color is so vivid it is just unbelievable how clean and crisp it is. I have owned and used many projectors and I have to say this is worth every penny and I will purchase another in the future if I need one. Epson is a great company and I congratulate them on an awesome projector that they have created for me to use in my business and personal life.

Awesome projector

The ability of this projector to directly accept a variety of input sources (VGA, HDMI and USB), including wireless, ,akes this projector very useful when being used my different individuals for varying purposes.  The automatic features also makes the projector very user-friendly, particularly for those that are only occasional users and may not be as familar with the hardware as others.  Also, even though the resolution is rated as only XGA, the image projected is very good, particularly for the business presnetation use intended.

Great Diversity

Bought this to replace one in house that quit working. I already had an Epson that we use for our outdoor movie screen and have enjoyed it now for 7 yrs and still works great. So decided to stay with another Epson similar to to same style. And we love it. Only thing different is we are buying a 7ft screen for inside viewing. This is hooked up to our dishTv

I can't use the WIFI feature and keep my internet connection to work with Google Docs in a morning production meeting.  It certainly has not been plug and play.  I need to spend more time diving into my problem but in this day and age, you should be able to simply plug and play.  That's not the case.
