This model is not Home Connect compatible. You will need to purchase the SmartCode 910. 
SmartCode locks equipped with Z-Wave or Zigbee technology need to be paired with a Z-Wave or ZigBee controller. The controller is the main gateway to control all your Z-Wave or ZigBee devices. You need to research different controllers in the market and find which one best suits your needs.

Is this compatible with Ring? So i can integrate it with the same system

The interior for this deadbolt model has an interior turn piece.

What is on the reverse side? I am looking for a combo on both sides.

The Kwikset Smartcode 909 has four AA Alkaline batteries located in the interior side. Please follow instructions below to remove battery pack.

1. Remove interior cover (three screws one on each side and one on the bottom)
2. At the very top of the unit it will say "DOOR" in white letters, that is the battery pack. 
3. Pull battery pack upwards and replace batteries.

We purchased this programmable deadbolt while we were remodeling our house. It helped with contractors as we could give them the code & they could let their self in instead of having to meet them all the time. We also love it after as you don't have to get a key out to open the door & our kids don't have to worry about losing their key. Awesome product. No issues at all after a year & half.

I actually have two of these keypad locks.One at a lake condo I've had about two years and one here in my primary home I've had about three months. They make life much simpler. At the lake if you go to the pool or out on the boat I don't have to remember a key. If friends or family want to go i give the them the code that i am currently using. I use two codes. One that only my wife and I know and one that I give to friends,, family or service people. I change the second code often. If an HVAC man is coming when I cannot be there I change the code for him only, often part of his phone number. After he leaves I change it to something else.
If a family member needs to get in I tell them the current code. I make a note of the current codes in my smart phone. Bottom line is it is secure and convenient

Secure and convenient

We have a detached garage and put this lock on our garage entrance so we don't have to worry about having a key with us all the time to get into garage. We also put one on our entrance to our home from the deck. Very convenient not needing a key. Also like the fact we could configure the lock to our existing house key. We do need to replace the batteries in the lock on the garage door a few times a year due to a lot of use and the cold weather, but batteries are easy to change.

Convenient Access!

I bought this 4 months ago, after I locked myself out of the house, with my keys 2 hours away. I use it daily and it is always flawless and easy to use. Really great for when I have guests because I can just give them a code and they can come and go as needed, without me being home. The back part is plastic that feels a little cheap, but it's held up well so far. Aside, from that, I really can't fault this lock for anything. Can't recommend it enough.

Should have bought one years ago!

This deadbolt is very convenient. We use the light indicator at night to verify the deadbolt is locked. We have several codes programmed for different people. We use rechargeable batteries and swap every 6 months or so. Have recommended and would again. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Great Lock!

I forgot to lock the door for the last time. The auto lock feature is great. I installed two on my doors. Fairly easy set-up. Just make sure that you follow the steps carefully. I needed a different latch for one door. It was sent free and when I needed help to readjust the lock the service rep was excellent. If you get stuck just call.

Love ability to set multiple codes! One for trusted maid service, a temporary code for short-term house guests, another for a handyman. Very convenient and easy to change or disable codes.

Great! I love it!

We've had this lock for about 4 months. We primarily got it for our children and for the convenience of cleaning service access. Yesterday it just stopped working. I tried everything listed in the instructions including a new battery, readjusting screws, and even completely reinstalling and reprogramming it with no success. I think the mechanism is stuck. Though it was absolutely wonderful when it worked, now its useless.

Great Product But.....

We've had this coded deadbolt for over a year now. I installed it on our front door with a handle from a Kwikset kit while replacing all door knobs and deadbolts. I simply subbed the electronic deadbolt for the normal one (and used the normal one on one of the back doors). I like it a lot and my wife loves it. We have toddler twin boys and I leave earlier than she does, so packing boys, lunch, gym clothes, coffee, etc was hard enough without fumbling and dropping the keys. Now she simply has to press the button and voila! The fact that it lights up at night when you forgot to turn on the porch light is especially convenient. I bought the deadbolt on sale at lowes, used a coupon, and got their military discount so the value is outstanding. I use Energizer's best battery (expensive, but they last) and I just recently changed them for the first time. By the way, changing or installing the batteries is a snap, just slide the cover off. I turned off some of the lighting and unnecessary battery-draining features and I recommend others do the same if possible. It looks amazing and guests compliment the looks and the features. I'd buy it all over again if I had it to do over, and that's saying something because I can be pretty critical. Go ahead, if you're buying a deadbolt you're on the hook to spend some cash anyway, so you might as well splurge a tiny bit for an upgrade.

Great bang for your buck

Received this as a gift for Christmas. Installed it to replace an existing Kwikset deadbolt.  Started installing it at 7AM by 10:30 it was placed in the garbage and old lock was reinstalled. Damaged my door trying to get new different stryker plate installed.  Why didn't you keep the same size and style stryker plates for all your locks. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
