No, these speakers need to be hard wired.

No, these are not wireless. They require speaker wire. I've tried some wireless speakers before and these sound 10x better with no static!

These are wired speakers. For wireless outdoor rock speakers, search for the OSD model WR120 on this site.

To do what you want, you need speakers with wireless receivers and built in amplifiers. These are like old-fashioned home stereo speakers or car stereo speakers - they require a separate amplifier to provide the sound output to them. Some of the more expensive outdoor speakers on this page HAVE the built-in amps, in case you wondered.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered these, but now that I have them, all I can say is, what a fantastic set of speakers. I set them up in my backyard garden and they blend in very well. The sound quality was better than I expected. I am really pleased with this buy!

I bought these 2 additional OSD Rock speakers to go with 2 existing slightly larger ones for my lanai by the pool. These are great speakers for a great price, you will be surprised how really good they sound.

They're a great product if you have a stereo to wire them into. But everyone has iPods or laptops that play their music and these aren't practical for them. They looked great but electronically, not what I needed.
