Are all the connection on the sides or do they connect at the bottom?

NOPE! Only one movie at a time for this set!

this is one player with 2 screans. you load one movie and the 2nd screan is just for veiwing. it has nothing on it but a screan and volume control.

No - Only 1 unit holds the dvd - The other units needs to be connected to play view and hear the movie.

No, one screen is your main unit that controls both. The other screen on has a volume control.

Can 2 movies be watched at the same time one in each tv?

There is an open button on the top of the screen. The front screen flips down and you can put your DVD in there and close it to load. VERY easy to do!

The DVD goes in behind the screen. It opens like a door when the open button is pressed.

the face pulls open. i bet you are looking on the side to slide it in. lol. so did i. nope. the face of the main player. the one with all the buttons. you pull it open there. if it is mounted in the car, it is very hard to load a DVD because the straps get in the way. which was my only issue

The screen pops out on the main monitor. when you click open, make sure the straps aren't around the center screen and open the screen.

We have 3 children so we bought two sets of the DVD's because our daughter wanted to watch one thing while our boys agreed to the same movie. It was perfect the set up was easy. No fussing the entire trip. We are going to put it to the test again with an upcoming Disney trip in a few days. For the price it couldn't be better!

Exactly what we wanted!!

I had read all the reviews with the complaints of the straps, but thought for the price, I would try this model out anyway. I was pleasantly shocked - I had NO problem at all installing them (just look at the user guide for an illustration), and I had NO problem switching out DVD's. We don't have to take anything apart, just open and change DVD's. Kids are ecstatic, so are the parents!!! GREAT product for the price!

We bought this product for our 4 1/2 year old and nearly 2 year old boys. This was intended for many trips to the zoo, hiking areas, vactions, etc., to make the car ride more bearable for them (and us!)... We have a portable DVD player, but it is a single and is hand held, so this product was ideal. It allows both of our children to have a screen to watch (so they aren't fighting), it doesn't have to be held (and they can't touch buttons), and it is very affordable and is a great value!!! It was totally worth $100! It works great!! It doesn't have a battery, so it must stay plugged in to work, but our vehicles have an auxillary power outlet so the movie stays on even if the car is off (which makes stopping for gas easier)!! It also comes with a home power cord and the very first day I got it, both my boys pulled up chairs and each watched their own individual movie screens - they thought it was awesome (so did I) - and that feature will be great for vacations!! It also comes with a carrying case that is small, but fits everything, including cords! We love the remote too! The straps were easy to use and put into the vehicle, but do have to be moved/adjusted to change the video (I don't care, wasn't that big of a hassle) - I do recommend putting the home unit on the driver's side so the passenger can change the movie, etc. if necessary. Great product, great value!! Would totally buy it again!

We have had these for about a year now, and have used them for COUNTLESS hours. (probably well over 1000) There are only 3 complaints that I have with the unit.
1. First off, right out of the box the straps can be very difficult to work with and get the angle set up just right. Be creative and patient and you will eventually get it right.
2. The next issue is that if power is interrupted for even 1/10th of a second, the system will reboot and you will have to start over.
3. Lastly, after playing movies on the unit for as long as we have, finally, a few weeks ago the unit will no longer read discs.

We purchased this unit for $110 originally, and now, having used it for so long, I would gladly pay $150 for it! And here is why...
1. First off, i don't know where you can find any better bang for your buck when it comes to entertainment on the road.
2. Secondly the remote is a very useful feature.
3. Third, if you wanted to, you could connect a video game system to the second screen. This is not possible with the main screen because it has no video input.
4. You also have an option of using the SD card slot, and USB slot to play music, view pictures and watch movies! Here is the catch. Videos must be in .mp4 format and be encoded as just a plain .mp4. If you know how to do a search on the internet...just do a little research and read up.

Even though the unit will no longer read discs, I have an 8 GB thumb drive hooked up to it with around 27 full length kids movies on it. If they would play continually (while playing from a thumb drive movies step to the next file automatically) for about 2-3 days NONSTOP!!!
Bottom line...get it, the protection plan is not necessary (i see it as a disposable system) and use it for any car rides longer than 30 minutes. 8-9 hour trips with 2 toddlers is a piece of cake now. The only trouble we have now is choosing what movie to watch.

Great value

I've been looking for a dual screen dvd player for my car for a while. I was a little nervous when I first ordered the product because of some of the reviews. However, since it was much cheaper than most dual screen dvd players, I figured it couldn't hurt. Boy was I surprised by it when I received it in the mail. The dvd player was great. It came with everything I needed; home charger, car charger, 2 sets of ear phones, remote, connector to connect the screens and a bag to carry it all. Plus the pictures on the screens were so clear. I would highly recommend this product it was definitely worth the gamble and the price.

Great Item

It works well for the price. I have it in my Nissan Pathfinder and the power cord can be cumbersome when the unit is in the 3rd row and the cord has to stretch to the front of the vehicle outlet. Also, I haven't figured out how to get the second monitor to work yet. All I get is sound, no picture. The directions are pretty much useless. Thankfully I only have one young child, so I have time to figure it out.

Besides the dangling cords, the monitor I haven't quite figured out, and the fact that the dvd starts over everytime the car is turned off, it works and for the price I can't do much more complaining.,,,

Good for the price

Iordered this offline for my kids to use when we travel. The two tvs keeps them quiet throughout our travel. I am really enjoying them and they are too! The only thing if you want to change dvds, you have to move the strapps some to open it, but it is usually not a problem for us. These tvs are fairly clear, but the volume is not that loud ( my kids use the headphones to hear better).
