Right out of the box NO. The transmitter needs 12V DC to work and the TV needs to have a audio output jacks (RCA type) TVs with 1/8" phone output jack need an adaptor. TVs with line outputs may not cutout the TV's speakers so check the operater manual of your tv.

You would need to have L/R audio out jacks, or a headphones jack on your TV. I have my TV connected to Audio receiver and used those L/R audio out jacks for connection.

Can't guarantee it, but since the signal is a wireless broadcast and the 'phones have 3 channels available, I can't see why not.

Can a second pair be used for a second input with no interference between pairs?

I use it on a tv in my van. It should work perfectly on any television but the only limiting factor may be the distance from the television that the IR will transmit. You will also need a 12 volt dc power supply to power the IR transmitter. I have 6 head sets in my van for the one transmitter.

Can i use this product on my T.V.? If so, i need four headphones for one T.V., can that be done?

The heahphones are a great replacement for car DVD IR headsets.The sound is top quality the monitor funtion is very nice and hard case protect them if stored under the seat or back of seat pocket

works well with my two portable tv's. great sound quality. easy to install if you know how to run a power wire.

Start-up was easy, and all parts needed were in the box. Took me 3 tries to get the right headphones. Worth the wait. Would recommend these headphones to all my senior brothers who need a little help from the TV audio.

As Promised

I purchased this system and installed it in a conversion van so that I would not have to listen to the television as my kids watched it. The IR transmitter plugged easily into the sound out jack on the tv and I already had a 12v DC wire nearby to power the IR transmitter, just a couple of wire nuts and it powered up and transmitted perfectly. In addition to the two included headsets, I was also able to use some of my old IR headsets from my SUV that has a built in DVD entertainment center.

Easy to install transmitter, works great

Works great with my Chrysler Aspen and so much cheaper then buying from the dealer. Great to have a case for each headset to protect them. That's why we needed a new one in the first place. They get trashed in the car. We were taking a trip and needed quickly. The $10.76 next day shipping was great. Saw on another sight that wanted $50 for overnight!!

These headphones do not work and were not what I ordered.  They came with female connections and I needed the male connection.

Setup took too many items not included.  It is non rechargeable using regular batteries!

Not what I expected

These headphones were delivered with a transmitter that had no power source!  It just had two short wires identified as ""12 v. DC power"" - no batteries, no plug in power supply.  So I was supposed to provide a source of 12 v power no more than 4 inches from the transmitter?

Wanted to use these on my TV but it needs a 12 volt power supply not included .
All there is are two wires one red one black May be good for mobile use. But not what I wanted it for.

was not to my expectations, and look at the packaging , it looks like what you buy at the swapmeet . I was given an e-mail Walmart @JBtoolssales .com and ask for a refund but I have not heard a word from . I think my next option is to dispute this with my BofA visa card . I have bought many items from Walmart .com in the past , I hope this experience doesn't stop me from being a customer.
