The HP ScanJet Pro 2500 f1 scanner is an excelent product. Great features. Very easy to use. Reasonably priced. It is exactly what I was looking for in a scanner for my office/study at home. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Excellent scanner!

Works better than my 20 year old HP scanner ever thought about working.  Quiet, very clean copies and can (most of the time) create a searchable PDF document.  When turned on after a long down time, you have to wait 2-3 minutes before the accompanying software can find the scanner.  Longer than the old scanner took to warm up the lamp.  Don't get in  hurry.  It is worth the wait.

Excellent replacement for very old scanner

The service was really great with a price match.
Installation was very easy but not because of the install sheet provided.  A good installation instruction would have made things a lot easier with no guessing.  The job got done without to many problems.  Machine works great both flat bed and auto feed.  Had a little trouble opening the cover to get to the flat bed.  Normal is opening from the bottom end of the scanner.  Took several tries before I learned that it opened  from the left side.  After that everything worked perfectly. Good equipment

We purchased this scanner for a small billing office. We regularly scan jobs anywhere from 1 - 40 pages as well as checks. This scanner is quick, it fits right under our desk, it works well with few hiccups and we feel that we got a great deal. Would happily recommend to another office with similar scanning needs. Used it to scan hundreds of printed photographs.  The quality and speed was much better then I anticipated

Cannot select a portion of the page to edit out part

Cannot adjust dpi higher

The Scanjet G3010 which this scanner replaced had a simple one button to push and have the scan sent directly to my printer. A simple copy machine! The 2500 f1 requires me to save the scan and then go to the saved scan file and print the item.

Would like a simple way to print scan

Work great and the price was right, sorry to have to let my HP Scanjet 8500 series go but no drivers available for it for Windows 10 which I had to switch to.
