I bought these in brown just to wear with some nice dark Jeanes casually. When I received them they were true to the color on the web page so I was pleased. Then the magic happened when I put them on and wore them for the first time. It was like walking on a cloud the entire day. Never worn a chukka style boot until I bought these. I love the simplicity of the shoe strings also. I got a little dirt on them and that night I took a cleaning kit for nubuck boots which cleaned them up pretty easily. I would definitely recommend treating them to keep them a easy clean and waterproof.

I was skeptical of ordering a pair of shoes online but liked the look of Axel and Raider boots so I took a gamble and got a pair of each. When they arrived, I first opened the Axel and was impressed with the look of the shoes and quality materials. Then I tried them on and and they were super comfortable! I opened the Raider and was equally impressed! I'm glad I took the chance on them really like the look, feel, and quality of these products!

Overall, I really like the boots. I was hoping there would be a little more fabric or cushion inside to keep you warmer in the winter. I had considered sending them back, but I wore them a couple days and scuffed them a little. Overall, I like them, just wish they were a little warmer.

It says so on your site and it says so on the tongue of the boot but it feels and smells more like plastic.

I was really excited for this boot. Think it looks great, but it doesn't breath very well. My feet were never really sweaty, but always felt like they were. I've not had that happen with other boots. I've worn them a couple times, so plan to keep the boots, but am going to return the other pair I purchased from you. They are also kind of hard to put on...have to pull out the laces almost to the bottom so I can slide my foot in.
