I've been wearing the Loose Fit five pocket straight leg double knee pant for many years- mostly blue and black. I just got a Relaxed Fit in a sand or khaki color. I think I'll stay with the Relaxed Fit from now on. These pants don't tear open at the crotch. They are very comfortable (after that first wash), and I'm OK with the polyester cotton material.Take them out of the dryer and fold 'em or hang right away and you won't have to iron.  I prefer the cell phone pocket rather than cargo pockets because you end up hoarding too much junk in your cargo pockets. I could do without the double knee fabric, but it's not a game changer. I wear these pants for both work and play. The sizing is roomy, and not anything like the peg leg pants in the general marketplace.  I am 5'9" and 180 libs.

My husband will wear nothing but these relaxed fit straight leg double knee Dickies.  Their comfortable, look great and he enjoys the side pocket, big enough to hold his smart phone in. Quality Work Pants

Best work pant hands down. Deep/wide pockets and leg pocket handy for any job. Thick heavy duty material used with good quality stitching. Last pair of Dickies I bought lasted me 10 years! Just now replacing them due to hole in the crotch and at bottom of leggings. You show me another work pant that lasts longer and I'll hand you my money!

Good use of pockets!

So very happy with the quality, fit and durability of these workpants. Have the cargo, original, and now relaxed fit double knee workpants. Could never find the exact fit selection in the stores I needed, but found the selection and sizes I needed immediately online and I must say it's the best money I've ever spent. I drive motorcoaches for a living and climbing in and out, loading luggage etc and STILL looking sharp is wonderful. Love the built in creases and extra pockets. Thank you, thank you!

Best workpants I ever bought

Pro: The Dickies that I bought (Double Knee) are great. The fit is great. I like the double knee because they protect my knees when I have to bend down and the fabric breaths nice.
Con: I think that the clasp that is used to secure the pants should be replaced by a more secure method. It seems that every time I tighten my belt the clasp does not secure the front of the pants. They split apart and that is bad.

Dickies Double Knee Comments

I bought three pairs of these pants to replace some worn out carpenter pants. Local stores never seem to have more than one pair of any style in my size, so I ordered online. Waist and inseam are a great, reliable fit. Solid Dickies quality all the way around. Good stitching. Great material. I give four stars only for the relaxed part. They are rather large in the circumference. I suppose they aren't absurd, but they are definitely more than I expected. The legs havent gotten snagged on anything or cause any problems, just more material around the calves than i expected or prefer. I admit it is entirely my fault, and if my old pants weren't already failing I would have returned for some regular straight leg pant of this model.

Solid workwear

I bought this pair of Dickies relaxed fit double knee work pants as clothing for work (ie: general warehouse work). Some good points & some bad regarding the pants & what I got it for.

Good:
-Right side cell phone pocket is handy; I use it to hold some of my work tools: big x-acto knife, pen, sharpie marker.
-Double knee; good for keeping the fabric more durable at the knees (I sometimes have to crouch down, climb or crawl on all fours to get, lift, clean or move things around on the job.
-The fit is good for me. Pant leg is roomy & comfortable but not too loose.
-Pants look good whether worn for work or casual wear.

Bad:
-Cell phone pocket cannot be closed up. I worry that my tools may fall out by accident.
If tools cannot be clipped to the edge of pocket, they tend to dig into my right back thigh whenever i crouch down.
-Tunnel loops for belt is too small for wider or thicker belts.
-Zipper fly is a bit short. A small problem when going to the washroom.

Overall, the pants do look good & it does the job that it's suppose to (durable; takes a beating & keeps on going). I like it!

Very comfortable after they wash a couple times. Hold up reasonably well, I work on my knees servicing appliances everyday, so naturally the knees wear out first. I get about 5 months per pair which I'm ok with since there so comfort.  More color options with this size cut would be nice. Slide in knee pads with proper foam options would be even better, but currently there are none.

Double knee relaxed straightleg

Who ever designed these pants obviously had no penis. The zipper is about 2.5” long and won't even allow me to pee without unbuttoning the pants. These are terrible.

Back to the drawing board.
