I love the side slits. They are higher than usual which adds style that goes to work as well as casual hiking. I ordered 2 of the stripes and came back for the white. I ordered a large because I like the oversized look. An even better buy on sale.

I'm not normally a "hoodie" kind of gal, but I wanted a couple for layering with matching items I bought.  I was hesitant because of the reviews about shape & fit.  But, I am pleasantly surprised by this hoodie.  Most EB items fit me too snug in the chest by the time they fit me in other areas, but this even though some call it boxy is a comfy fit which allows for movement.  I like a looser fitting top layer for most of the activities for which I wear hoodies or sweatshirts.  This is not a heavy sweatshirt, but a nice midweight for those borderline chilly temps that occur a lot in our area during the Spring & Fall seasons & Summer evenings.  I'm about 5'3" & 135 lbs & purchased a Medium.

Comfy!

I have an older Eddie Bauer hoodie sweatshirt in a size Medium that's always been too snug in the body.  I have to stretch it before I can wear it or I can barely zip it.  Based on that, I ordered this one in a size Large but it's much wider than I expected and the sleeves are too long.  I thought they'd either sent me the wrong size or that was mismarked.  The Large is clearly tthe equivalent of an XL.  Rather than return it, it made a great Mother's Day gift for my Mom who does wear an XL.  A perfect fit on her!  I just wish I had one of my own now.

I loved it but I think it runs a full size larger

I have three of these sweatshirts from prior years all a size small. I wanted a new color so I ordered another one this year in a the same size and it is huge! I wish sizing would stay consistent. I've had the same problem with other items this year too and had to return several things that I wouldn't have expected to be a problem. Pretty disappointing Eddie Bauer!

Why change the sizing?

This is a bad look.  My wife loves the (old) camp fleece and I bought her one for her birthday this year.  Not sure what EB did, but the new fit is nothing like the previous ones that I have bought her. It is HUGE with a round fit like a ball and tight on the hips. She dislikes it so much we are going to return it. Please bring back the old style!

Bummer!!
