This shoe runs fast and guides my foot to a midfoot strike. That makes it smoother and gives it a lighter contact with the ground.
It also has strong energy return and cushions the foot on long distances.
I use my Omni ISOs for training and marathons...one sweet shoe!

Saucony

I bought the Saucony Omni ISO today. I got a great deal on them at a local store as they were on sale. This is without a doubt the most comfortable running shoe I have ever had on my feet. Perfect in fit for length and width. I am extremely flat footed and I over pronate. This shoe provides great medial support and curbs my foot from rolling inwards. It has adequate arch support as well. I hope that you guys do not change the fit and style too much from here on out. If you keep this shoe the same you have a committed customer for life. Thanks for making this shoe so perfect for feet like mine!

Super comfortable shoe

I am Saucony through and through. I love the fit, support, and style.  There is nothing like the first runs with a new pair of Saucony's and will never buy another brand of running shoes.

7 th pair of Omni's!

Great shoe...I have purchased Saucony or the last 30 years as much as practical to run, and now walk for my workouts.   Dependable and consistent fit and performance.

Very comfortable, nice balanced weight

This is the 4th or 5th set of these shoes I have purchased.  I have moderate pronation and these correct this well.  overall they are very comfortable.  

My only complaint is that I tend to wear the lining out before I wear through the sole.  I get around 450 miles on a pair before the lining is so bad that I need to replace them.

I think it is more specific to me, but if there was some way to toughen the lining a bit, the shoe would be perfect.

Overall, a great shoe, which is why I keep buying them.

Excellent Shoe

I have been running with Omni for years and was very hesitant about the ISO. After my first run I am very pleased with my purchase. Comfortable, great support, and being an over pronator this shoe does not feel as “chunky” as compared to historical omnis and shoes in this category. Fits true to size although slightly bigger than historical Omni line but not worthy of stating that in the review. Easily makes by thicker socks and no impact on my longer runs. Since I have been running with Omni for years my size has never changed.

Omni continues to deliver

I like the style of the shoes.  They have decent arch support and feel very stable, yet are very light (something I've always liked about Saucony shoes).  However, I cannot run in them, only walk.  There is very little padding beneath the ball of my foot.  I'll end up with plantar fasciitis if I try to run, at least on my usual routes, which are concrete and asphalt.

I bought my current pair of Omni ISO in December and have put about 250 miles on them. On both shoes, there is a hole in the fabric of the interior. Like all my other pair of Omnis, I know this will just get bigger. I've been running with Saucony Grid Omnis for 18 years, and this version is another in a long line of Omnis in which the inside heal wears out rather quickly. 

All that said, the Omni ISO is an otherwise reasonable running shoe. However, I find the soles on this version to be stiffer than previous versions (Omins), which makes for a slightly different run. There's also less padding, so I feel each strike a bit more than on other models.

Unfortunately, because of my narrow heels and over pronation, the Omnis with their wide toe boxes are pretty much the only model in the universe that work for me, so I'm locked in and will continue to purchase.

Subpar Build Quality

I have worn the Saucony Omni brand for more than 10 years. However, this new design is awful. The problem is the tongue of the shoe is now molded into the rest of the shoe. No matter how loose the laces are, it still wraps too tightly around the top of the foot. And this is actually more uncomfortable while walking or sitting, as opposed to running. It cuts off circulation. (I tried two different sizes at a Saucony outlet store. The same problem persisted.)

Please go back to the design of the Omni 16. This is the only shoe that is comfortable for me to run in. (I also like to wear it for walking and at work.) I will be forced to switch brands if this is going to be the style moving forward.

The last few times that I have bought Saucony omni iso running shoes I have had the misfortune of only after a month of running to experience a hole inside my left shoe at the heel, which then causes a blister.  It seems like the older omni running shoes from a few years ago had better fabric at the heel inside the shoe.  The fabric now wears out very quickly.  Very irritating and kind of a shame because they are superb stability shoes for runners that over-pronate and they feel very comfortable when you put them on right out of the box.
