As a toy, I would definitely give this piano an excellent rating. First, it requires a very little assembly as I only followed a few steps to put it together. Second, this wooden piano which made with a lot of details is already an obvious winner when comparing to those plastic and rough ones in the market. Besides, it does come with songbook with color-coded key chart, which is very helpful for kid to learn. Of course, we can't compare this to a real piano, but the kids should fall in love with it easily because of it's beautiful appearance. Even though it is only recommended for 4 to 6 years old kids, I gave this piano to a 3 years old boy as a gift and he was so excited and loved to play with it again and again. I received this product at a discounted price in return for my unbiased review.

i like the piano-however my daughter ripped to shreds the key guide you affix to piano.....how do i get a new one? perhaps in the future a plastic laminate sticker kind can be used?!?

I bought another Piano for my son before from somewhere else, I was not happy with that. Luckily this time is a great purchase. This Piano is very nicely made. It is cute design, more colorful than the pure black and white piano. And the pitch is accurate, that is very good. My previous purchase has the pitch problem which makes me not happy. It doesn't take much space in my son's play area.

Happy Purchase

This is such an awesome miniature grand piano!  I love that the seat is non slip so that there are no accidents in slipping.  Secondly, the music sheets that come with the grand piano are fantastic!  They are simple and color coded so that it’s great development for the beginning music player (especially in jogging the young toddler’s mind and exposing them to music.)  Nothing is too hard to understand and it helps them develop color coordination.  The only bad thing is the music holder is not too sturdy and sheets fall off here and there. Little hands creating music to my ears...

Like a real piano it does not need batteries or to be plugged in to an outlet.  The littlest to the biggest kids play on it. The only issue reported it that one of the legs are not screwing in all the way.

Great for kids of all sizes

I gave this piano to my 3 years old niece, she falls in love with it immediately when she opens it. It's beautify and sturdy, just look like a real piano but in a mini version. The material is well made and the size is just perfect for her to sit on. However, the sound quality is not as good as real piano, but this is a play piano which I understand, and it's good enough for the kids who are the beginners to the music/piano. It becomes one of her favorite toys now. I received this product at a discounted price in return for my unbiased review.

Kid loves it!

Very nicely crafted piano for starters and kids who will hopefully develop a life long learning for piano. It looks beautiful and grand like a grand piano in a minature size  - which is perfect.  The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is 
- The price point feels high given kids will use it only for a couple years before they will want to graduate to the real life size piano

The piano was so adorable. Unfortunately it was damaged when I opened it. The keyboard was very loose and the notes were off key. I'm still waiting for the company to decide if they'll pay for return shipping.

I purchased 2 of these pianos for both grand babies. One piano had several keys that didn't work. I ordered a replacement and it also came with 2 keys that made no sound. Also when playing them both at the same time the same keys sound completely different. I'm totally surprised that this is such poor quality especially for the price. It is a poor representation of a piano. I thought it would be fun for toddlers to learn on this first but it's better to start them with the real piano. Its very beautiful next to our baby grand but plays absolutely terrible. And the kids were so sad to not get something that works for Christmas.

Poor quality and keys don't work

The piano is very cute, but the tone quality is barely different from the cheapest toy piano available.  Too expensive for the sound quality.  This piano would never inspire a future musician.
