This crib is lighter than other "cherry" furniture that I have seen in stores. The reddish wood color in the picture is pretty accurate.

If you are looking for a hot red or very red, sorry this will not be the product for you. I believe have a red looks but is cherry wood. I think you may be better off by getting a crib and painting it or pay some one to paint it very red. Good luck with your search!

you can use the crib with out the changing table but not both. the right wall of the crib is also the back wall of the changing table. So you have to have them built attached or just build the changing table or just the crib. They can't stand apart.

The changing table needs to be connected to the crib in order for the crib to be functional.

Beautiful black crib, did have 1 unnoticeable scuff mark, but i only noticed because i read the reviews nd was kinda looking for it, lol, but otherwise its beautiful. I put the crib together by myself, it take longer because I turned some of pieces the wrong way(i have no clue how) so that would stop me in my tracks and I would have to take it apart then continue to put it together again, the hardest part was the changing table otherwise I believe I did great to be 5 months pregnant by myself putting a crib together at 4am! I hope you all enjoy!

Excellent crib. Bought this for our newborn and she's still using it a year later. I like the 3 mattress levels. Assembly was easy enough but somewhat time and energy consuming putting it together myself while 8 months pregnant. But it came with all the necessary tools. It doesn't come with the toddler bed conversion set though, and we bought a separate changing pad since the one it comes with is super thin. The slats are spaced for safety so baby can't get head between them. Baby's gotten her arms and legs between them at times but it never hurts her, she just sometimes needs help getting loose. Perfect for a growing baby.

Quality crib

Ok so while I was looking for a crib I kept passing this one and not really giving it the time of the day because of the price , I gave a second look and it didn't look ahead or thrown together as I expected . It came Saturday with a changing pad with the belt and it was very simple to put together. I'm going to get another changing pad one that's thicker and contoured but the one that came with honestly looks good enough for me. All and all it's a steal for this price and very beautiful I didn't have the problem I keep seeing where it came damaged or any of that I'm very satisfied it completed my nursery.

The box came all beat up, but other than a few dings that are hidden and unnoticeable, overall very happy with the product. Great color, went together very easily and I did it in an hour by myself. Only tricky part was the side of the changing table. Directions were very clear, screws weren't labeled but theres only two sizes so it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out. Railing guard was a pleasant surprise and the changing pad wasn't too thin. I'm even able to use it in my bassinet! Fast shipping although they did not handle with care like the box says in big letters,  only reason I knocked a star off. Ordered on Saturday night after Christmas and got it Tuesday morning.

Poor shipping, great product!

None of the parts inside are labeled, however the instruction manual shows detailed pictures of what parts to put together 1st, 2nd, and 3rd...ect. Just have all the loose boards and bolts laid out and grouped around you, keep looking at the pictures long enough, paying attention to the details of the drawings and it will come to you! For example, two of the wood parts look identical, but the picture in the manual shows a couple of small drilled holes that's only in one of them. Most of the bolts are a style only found in wood assembly where you put a round slug with threads inside one piece then push the bolt through the other piece and into the threaded slug. HINT the threaded slug has a directional line stamped on one side to show you what direction it is pointing once you insert it into the hole.
The crib walls are already assembled, so most of the work is assembling the changer and attaching it to the crib. The bolts are all allen(female hex) and set only comes with one allen driver, unfortunately this one allen driver is made of soft pot metal(knocked to a 4 star) and will easily strip with repeated over tightening. I highly suggest unless you have access to a set of metric allens, you don't tighten any of these bolts up until you have assembled the whole crib.....then go back and lightly tighten up all the bolts. Once assembled, throw the manual under the mattress(not included) and pat yourself on the back for spending the extra bit and getting the attached changer because this attachment made the whole assembly much, much more sturdy! BTW we decide on the "Natural" color because one little scratch on one of those dark colors will show up like a flashing beacon to me. The natural color goes with everything it seems.
