Best transceiver I have ever owned. The scan feature,, the transmit and receive power meter, the lock feature the refined squelch system, and so many other things, you have to own one to believe . And the fact that whether on rubber duck or car, the radio let's you know the status of your adios performance. The scan feature alone is worth the price, and with all else included, it's a bargain.

item will not transmit or receive. Save your box to return, I threw mine away assuming Cobra wouldn't sell junk.   I don't have money to waist, this item is awful. False advertised.  just static most of the time, range of 100 feet with static

The radio was a huge disappointment. The range was less than 1/2 mile and that was while using the magnetic antenna. I will be returning it for a refund. Extremely disappointing especially coming from a company like Cobra who has such a good reputation in their industry.

The radio is not what we had hoped for we bought 3 amongst us to go jeeping and we literally have to be in site if each other for the. To work. Very disappointed unfortunately. I have heard many good things about this company but the distance the manual radio reaches is not but a few car links.
