No it does not work very well with the Cricut. It is too thick. I used the deep cut blade {brand new} and it was on multi cut and still did not go all the way through. The chipboard was shifting and not cutting the same line again. {I did use a new mat too.}

The first answer is correct in that this chipboard will not cut all the way through on the Cricut even using the deep cut blade and housing. If your design is not too intricate, you can however, set your machine to slow and multicut 4. Your mat must be fairly new and tacky to hold the chipboard sheet in place for the mutiple cuts. This will cut the design about 3/4 or a little more of the way through. I then used a sharp Exacto knife to cut the rest of the way. You just have to be careful going around curves with the Exacto because it tends to want to cut straight lines. My pieces came out well enough and after I cut them out, I used a fine grit sandpaper to smooth any jagged edges. It came out great and even though it was a lot more work than I wanted, the results were worth the effort.

I believe that you need a special heavy duty blade to be able use this board with a Cricut.

The chipboard is pretty thick. It will not work on Cricut machine.Works good on sizzix big shot with big dies

I was able to cut with spellbinders die and cuttlebug. I imagine using the deep cut housing and multicut you could cut with the cricut.

Nope...this isn't gonna' go through a Cricut. It is way too thick and doesn't bend. Even with one of the thick Cricut blades it isn't going to work.

I recommend the deep cutting blade if you are going to use it with the cricut.

It would be pretty difficult as it is thick. I use a guillotine cutter to make straight cuts with this board and it takes alot of strength to do it. Regular scissors aren't gonna' go through it well at all.

Looks to measure about 2mm in thickness can be cute with scissors. Had great weight doubled up.

That sounds like a good description, tho a good quality notepad. It's not as thick as other chipboard I've found in craft stores, but it's pretty sturdy.

This is considered medium weight which I would say is not quite the thickness of the back of a notepad. I have seen Heavy Weight Chipboard, but I am not sure where you can purchase this. Hope this helps.

This chipboard is a good weight of chipboard. I think it is thicker than the back of notepad chipboard. I use it to make custom made scrapbooks and it is very nice.

Awesome weight for making mini books and paper projects. I was completely impressed with the quality. Definitely will order this product again. Just wish Walmart had a better craft section in store, or ship to store option for more craft products.

I was a little concerned by the word Medium weight in the product title. I expected something about a strong as a gift box. Boy was I surprised! This chipboard is so sturdy, it doesn't even bend when holding it in the air by one side. Yet, it cut very easily. I was able to run my blade up and down a few times in my trimmer, flip it over and cut with one more swipe using a regular Fiskars paper trimmer (not rotary).

My projects turned out great. I'm glad I got three packs, but I"m sure I'll be buying more in the near future.

Excellent chipboard for projects. Very sturdy

These are just the materials I will need for my summer projects. The thing that impressed me the most was the delivery time. I was expecting to wait a week but instead I received the chipboard in just a couple days.

Exceeds expectations.

Product is a good sturdy chipboard, and as stated in the title, this product worked amazingly well on my Cricut Maker 3. You DO need to have and use the "Knife Blade", and then use it on the "Chipboard (1.5mm)" material setting. Takes 12 passes but will cut through cleanly! Strongly recommend using the Strong Grip mat AND taping around the edges. Be careful with the tape you use, as it can peel off some of the paper on the chipboard when removed.

I didn't realized this wasn't thicker......that is my fault and it is hard to tell via the internet. Service was excellent.....speedy....and actually came faster then I expected. AND the shipping was CHEAP compared to other places. I scrapbook so I will find a way to use it!

I Love the sturdiness of this chipboard and for the price it's an awesome deal. I made a 6x6 mini album an although the chipboard is good weight I doubled it up for added weight.

The price and the shipping were the main factors in purchasing this product. I was not sure if it would be sturdy enough for my project and to my surprise it was. This would great for people who make mini albums.

simple packing. not that thick but sturdy enough to be the backing for projects  or scrapbooking. I use them for the backing on my photos or art prints.

Best amount for the best price.

Though I will still use this for my intended purpose (scrapbooking/book binding), I thought it would be a litlle bit more sturdier/thicker (like a hard bound book cover). It's not as thick as the traditional chipboard that you would find in a crafting store, but it's a little strudier than the cardboard back on the 12X12 note papers that come bound together. Hopefully with paper glued onto it, it will make it a little more solid.

Thinner than I thought

The service for this product was WONDERFUL! Arrived the next morning. The product itself was ok but many of the pieces had a rough cut edge and had to be sanded. Also I have found mat board (which I could have substituted for this project) cheaper at Hobby Lobby.

I bought this chipboard to use with my Cricut because I knew I would need some for a project I was planning on doing. It was one of the "recommended products of buyers who also bought this product.." I was expecting my Cricut to be able to cut through it - hence saying this chipboard would work with my Cricuit - but no such luck. It was way to thick but there is nowhere on the package that said the measurements of how thick it really was. The only bonus was that there was 25 of these 12x12 boards for a low price..but I have no clue what I'm going to use them for now...
