While the ease of the charger is spot on, this is particularly ideal for users who have a completely flat phone case. Others with slightly beveled cases similar to those sold by GHOSTEK will have a bit of a challenge charging on the doc, though it isn’t completely defunct—simply not entirely secure.

Additionally,if you have a phone grip you cannot detach, this charger is not for you.

Otherwise, the charger is relatively stable and easy to mount. I used the more simplified method, but may try out the more involved one. Definitely consider your vehicle and phone’s shapes and sizes when purchasing this item.

Fantastic grip. Holds very securely. Would be 5 stars, but with my ghostek exec 6 case for my z fold 4, it doesn't hold in the correct position for qi charging.

Mags Cohoes be way stronger. Charge alignment very difficult at times. Main issue here, vent clip. I would try a J- shaped ratcheting steel attachment in place of the shake monster supplied.

Otherwise no more issues with me okay product May purchase again in the future if need.

It seems like the magnet strength of this MagSafe car mount vent is a strong point, ensuring a secure hold for your phone. However, the issue with the poorly made clamp that couldn't handle the phone's weight is a significant drawback. This accessory may not be a wise investment unless they improve the clamp design.

Charger comes apart when connected my magnetic case. Phone case comes apart too easily. Not worth the price paid.

Charges well but falls of the vent often on small bumps. After two weeks the magnets are already pulling off the mount when you take your phone off. This is the second product I have purchased from this company and I have had problems with both. Save your money and go elsewhere.

I like the dual mount design to switch from windshield or vent, and the charging capability. However, the magnet hold of the mount was weak. I took a 10hour car trip the first weekend with it. The phone fell off the mount all the time, to the point it was irritating. If I touched the phone, made a turn, or just cruising down the interstate (not hitting any bumps) it would fall off. I returned the mount after two days. If there is a redesign with better holding capability I would consider buying it again. I also bought the phone case and love it.
