I had an Emerson cd/cassette player that lasted 20 years and it finally gave out. This CD player is smaller but just as powerful player. The radio plays good also. The tuning wheel is in an unusual place and hard to see but works well. I am well pleased with this Emerson CD player and hope it lasts as long as the other one I had.

Do not order from this seller. Sent the wrong brand of CD player. It is not an Emerson.. I was sent an off brand CD player and was going to give it to someone for their birthday tomorrow and now it's too late to return it and get an exchange.

Bought it on-line along with 2 of Jelly Rolls CD's.
Took it out the box and opened the BRAND NEW CDs
Dang thing didn't play!!
had the No on it.
And i took out the CDs in the correct way by the edges.
so now, i have to go out of my way and get a refund or a new one

Did not work when i received it. No power, wouldn't come on at all. Will return it on my next visit to the store.

Not worth it.

The item is supposed to work with either batteries or AC power cord.  Item only works with batteries.
Worst part is they gouge you for shipping and don't refund shipping on a return.
