Each zone can be individually toggled on or off with the front panel switch. Built-in impedance-matching circuitry ensures that the overall impedance level to the amplifier does not drop below 5 Ohms, no matter how many speaker zones are selected or how many speakers are in each zone. The impedance-matching protection circuitry can be disabled using a front-panel button, but this should only be done if there is another protection circuit employed or the system is carefully designed to avoid amplifier damage. The unit can handle up to 100 watts per channel with the protection circuitry enabled and up to 200 watts per channel with the protection circuit disabled.

I love it it is used now for all my speakers.. no more reverb   or stacking cables hoping for the best, just the right piece of equipment.

This works like a dream, I thought I was going to pay hundreds for a channel switcher. I thought it was for pairs and so I only really needed a 4 channel but, now I have the option to add 4 more sets. easy to understand and hookup and great power transfer. For the price it is a deal come true! Thanks Walmart.

Self tech

I want to like this unit but the wire connectors in back are very difficult to use.  It doesn't tell you what size wire it is designed for but I can tell you 14 and 16 ga wire doesn't work well (it seems 18ga should be the maximum suggested wire).  The spring clips are very finicky and pop out of place easily.  I tried using tips on the wires thinking this would solve the issue, but it did not work any better.  I am buying another style from another vendor which I suspect will work better with thick wire.

This is inexpensive.... it does what it does (speaker selector), however be careful when you're attaching your speaker wires in the back.  The spring/ red + or black - wire "fastening clip"  is low quality.   One broke on me.   

You push the tab,  insert the wire in the hole,  release the tab, the spring holds the wire.   I like to pull up on the tab to make sure the wire is snug.  Don't do that.  You pull the tab out of the socket,  the tiny spring shoots across the room and now you have a 7 speaker selector.   

In reality,  for my barn,  I cursed,  wished it was made better,  plugged my 6 sets of speakers in, and it works great and really haven't had to touch it since setting it up.  For$20 you get what you get,  it's great,  don't pull up on the tab.
