The sound is extraordinary on this soundbar. It totally immerses and envelopes you in its sound when watching movies. I am very satisfied with its performance but I wish it had clearer indication of the modes that your in. It can be somewhat obscure concerning this.

I mostly stream movies and shows. The really enjoy this sound bar. I have no complaints. You can not beat the price  and Great Quality. I've been using it for a little over two weeks on a daily basis.

Great Price Good Sound

Sounds great compared to just the tv. I enjoy not having a subwoofer on the floor as well. I'd recommend it. (using on a Samsung tv/playstation 4/ galaxy phone. all work just fine.)

Works great!

It has a built in subwoofer which saves you space in your house. The sound is excellent and for a little over $300, I would recommend this product.

Got this 2 days ago. Was a bit sceptical when Sony rep at electronics store said my tv and cable box would work as soon as connected. He was totally right. Didn't have to do anythink except connect 1 cable and plug into power.

I bought this because I am a Sony fan and have been wanting to get a sound bar so that I can stop relying on the TV speakers. Bought this to try it out and it made a huge difference in the sense that it fixed every issue with the sound. I love that you can change the setting depending on what you are doing such as gaming, watching a movie and just listening to music. Overall can't complain it's excellent and exactly what I needed.

Sound Problem

The best way to summarize this sound bar is that it is ok but not great. Yamaha makes a similar product which was selling for half the price of this Sony model on Black Friday. The sound in particular represents a clear improvement over tv speakers but this is by no stretch the Sennheiser Ambeo! On the plus side it is easy to set up and fits well under my Sony 55 inch tv. Build quality is good.

OK but not great!

I bought this several weeks ago to use on a 2020 LG CX and it does improve the clarity of voices dramatically but there was absolutely zero special Dolby Atmos effect from the speaker bar so do not recommend.

Do not buy: No Dolby Atmos whatsoever
