The dvd are loaded on the top of the player. You just tap the dvd door open and it pops open. I haven't tried the remote yet.

DVD's are loaded on the top part of the base. This player swivels and can be tilted all the way down so it lays on top of the base like a tablet. One touch finger operation to open the DVD door.

i am also looking into getting this dvd player myself but dont own it yet,

but i suggest in getting a targus laptop bag for the dvd player, this way u can carry multiple dvds with, they range in between 12.00 to 40.00 bucks.

I don't know the battery life, but the manual says when charged, it is good for 2 hours. I usually use it plugged in. The player came in a really nice strong bubble large envelope shape container with a flap.
I don't know about a bag for one but I see bags at rummage sales all the time with zippers and handles that would work.

Battery life on full charge is 2 hours plus at full external speaker volume and full brightness on a 13.3" 1280 x 800 resolution screen which is very large for a portable DVD player. Lowered brightness and using the supplied ear buds the battery life will extend to 3 to 4 hours.

battery life is about 3 hours.does not come with a carrying bag. you can probably find one by taking the measurements & checking out stores or on line.

it does not come with a bag per-say,BUT,it comes in the most interresting bubble bag that I've ever seen.the bubble bag is only for shipping--but it's good enough,with care,that I think it will last for a very long time.
