Gold N Hot 24K Gold Pressing & Styling Comb this is an awesome press comb. My hair is super curly at the roots and this helped in straightening that area. Works just fine it gets really hot up to 500 F . If your hair is fine or thin turn the heat down it as an adjustable temperature control . I'm so impressed with this press comb I can now completely straightened my roots without ever using chemicals. I received this product from the Spark Reviewer program.

Excellent for curly hair

I tried this still styling comb and really liked it! It heats up quickly, with adjustable temperature controls to prevent the comb from getting too hot and burning your hair, which I happen to really like because I have super fine hair. It's lightweight, so you don't feel any wrist fatigue. It's durable, so if it's dropped, I don't think you'll l have any problems with it breaking. Good quality, so I think it'll last for years before it needs to be replaced. And it comes from a name that most women know and trust! They only thing I would have liked this Styling Comb to be is cordless! It has a very long cord attached (with the controls on it) that could let be a blessing for some, but a hazard to others if they style their hair in the bathroom. Could be an accident waiting to happen! All in all, I think this is worth the purchase. Recommended!!!

Gold 'N Hot Professional Pressing & Styling Comb

I've used Hot-n-Gold styling products for 20 years (curling iron, hair dryer and hot comb). I really like the quality and heating power of their products. I've had this electrical hot comb for several years and wanted a replacement. It's a great product for me, as I use it mostly for travel when I want to straighten out my curly, frizzy hair for business meetings. Take some very little room in my Carry-on bag.

Fast-heating, Portable, Straightening Comb

I absolutely love this pressing comb! It heats up quickly and I have very thick hair...it took no time to get all of my hair done! My hair looks so good! It straightened my hair so well it looks like I went to a professional to get it done! I would definitely recommend

Love it!

I used the N Hot 24K gold pressing & styling comb to give myself a straighter look on my hair without a lot of fuss or time. It heated up quickly and was very easy to use. I liked it but, it didn't get my hair as flat as I would have liked the first time. I got better as I kept using it. I have very thick hair so I think that is part of the issue. I then took smaller sections and it seemed to work better. I received this product as part of the Walmart Spark reviewer, in return my honest review.

strightening comb

This hair straightening comb is so much more safer and convenient than having to heat on a regular stove. Although the manual does say for the best results, it is recommended to be used with a pressing stoves that you lay the straightening comb on to heat it. This straightening comb has a heat setting that ranges from 200 - 500, which allows you to find the best temperature to straighten your hair. I have thick coarse hair so I have to use a higher setting. Be aware that if you have any product in your hair, the amount of heat you have the comb set to will cause your hair to heat up and smoke. I like this comb for the convenience of it being electric, the dial with the temperature settings, and the ease of being able to straighten my hair.

Much more safer than heating on your stove.

Initially the first time I the Gold ‘n Hot it took a while to heat up, but now it heats up quickly. I would say this smooths hair, doesn't straighten. If you have wavy hair your hair will still have a smooth wave. Anything thing when I first used, I couldn't figure out how to turn it on, I'm so use to the switch being on the handle, the Gold ‘n Hot has it on the cord.

Smooths and leaves waves

I selected this mainly to use to straighten and smooth synthetic wigs. It's super-easy to use. The comb is two combs that create a triangle where they connect on the outside point. There's a flat plate between them at the base and a curved plate behind the triangle comb, so there are lots of things it can do depending on the way it's used. You can simply comb through hair to smooth it. You can comb and wrap the hair around it to make soft waves. You can comb with it rotated so the side hits the hair to flatten it. And you can run the curved side pressing down on the crown hair to flatten it closer to the lace cap.
It has full temperature control from 200-500 degrees and anywhere in between with a flexible dial. But I don't like that the dial control is on the middle of the cord instead of on the handle. It gets caught up on the table edge and other furnishings as I style. Also, the dial too easily turns, and I found that as it hits things it changes temps on me. It went all the way up to 475 by itself and I didn't know until I looked at it. That's not good when styling synthetic wigs. I did find however, that I needed much hotter heat than recommended for synthetic wigs with this. I think it's because this tool makes light contact with the hair and is always being moved through it rather than pressing it and sitting in one place. I was unable to completely straighten a wig with this. I could just gently smooth waves to about half what they were, and it took time and many combings, so this is a gentle styling tool.
Overall, it's a cool tool to have in a hairdressing arsenal. I just wish the control panel was on the handle and the dial did not turn so easily.

Easy to use

I'm Caucasian with course wavy hair this styling comb definitely tamed my hair but didn't take all the really stubborn waves out of it. It also didn't give me any indication when it was fully up to temperature which I didn't like but I did like it has a little thing to prop it up so it didn't have to sit on my counter top. If it would have gotten my hair flatter and if it had an indication when up to temp I would have given 5 stars

It's okay is you have already straight hair

I had high hopes for this product since I already own a Gold n Hot blow dryer and flat iron and I love them. The styling comb fell short in my opinion. My hair is natural so I blow dried it before attempting the use the styling comb. All it did was make my hair fluffy and it straightened it a little after I ran the comb through my hair a bunch of times. I ended up using my flat iron the straighten my hair. Attached is pictures of my hair after using the styling comb and after using the flat iron to compare.

Not for me

Out of the box its a beautiful comb. Nice cord length but product is heavy.
 I have extremely curly hair this product did nothing for me except create a 
frizzy mess. It took some curls out but did not come close to straightening 
my spiral curls. While it looks nice it isn't for people with super curly hair. 
Maybe a short cut with waves. Ill stick to a flat iron when I need to straighten.

Give me a reg flat iron
