I didn't buy the chair for the sun shade but it was definitely what sold me over competitor options, but it's also why it loses a star. The shade just slowly falls. No matter how well you line up the teeth or how tight you turn the knobs, the shade piece just wants to slowly fall. 

Now before anyone thinks *I* must be doing something wrong, I personally built or put together every piece of furniture in my home, sans one, as recently as six months out and as much as 7 years out. Everything is still in good condition and sturdy as can be; some items even survived multiple moves. So I am absolutely able to tighten 4 screws and knobs appropriately - the shade is just a bit too heavy for the low cost plastic connectors being used to hold it up, so it slowly keeps falling. 

All that said, the chair itself seems sturdy enough. I'm not little (250), and I'm always suspicious of weight ratings, but this one seems pretty accurate. I didn't feel like I was going to break the chair or stretch the fabric so much as to cause any rips or tears. So I ultimately got the chair I wanted, just not the perk I was promised.

Don't pay extra for the shade

The lounge chair is not just-able  it does not stay in the position no matter what position you put it on.  I didn't know it was not gonna stay in position. It took us a while before we opened the box and started putting it together in the living room. My husband threw the box out thinking it will be ok after putting it together. The following day he unfolded the lounge chair and that's when we found out it does not stay in the position he wanted. No matter what position you put it, it will not stay it falls down. So that's why Im returning it.

Lounge chair does not stay in position!

The quality of the chair was fair. 
There are too many plastic fittings that seemed like they would not be long lasting. 

I reluctantly decided to return the chair.
However, a return was nearly impossible and I received no help from Walmart Customer Service.  Other than being told they would send me a printable label…..This label never materialized. 

I was a big fan of Walmart for two plus years until this. Now I am finished with Walmart for good.

Don't buy this. 

Terrible customer service.

We bought two of these loungers and paid much more than the discounted price they have on them now. Two weeks after the one year guarantee our grandson sat on one of them and it ripped open from the side. He weighs 180 lbs yet it says it holds 330 lbs. the chairs are unsafe. They refused to replace or refund our money due to it being two weeks past the guarantee period. Thankfully he did not get hurt but now we are stuck with not trusting the other lounger, as we don't want anyone to get harmed by the proven unsafe material in the loungers.  Don't purchase these lounge chairs.

Bad product and company.
