I have only had this a few days and I have baked pizzas, seared amazing steaks, chicken, rack of lamb, buffalo, Seared Ahi, veggies and I have made a new version of my signature Thrice Baked Potatoes. Today I baked some mini sourdough loaves which I normally do in my solar oven. This oven/cooker is all you would hope for and so much more! As a retired chef my creativity has just be launched in a whole new direction, I can't wait for the Uuni Pro to arrive, I will be purchasing that one as well!!!

This oven get really hot and cooks a pizza in about four minutes.  One tip make sure you use corn meal on the bottom of the crust so the pizza is easy to turn.

Easy to use and make a great pizza

After watching so many great reviews about this unit i could not wait to get it.  I have now made 10 pizzas in 2 two sessions - all had to be thrown away.  The oven has huge temp swings.  The hopper requires constant attention to keep the temps consistent for more than a few minutes.  The pellets i am using add too much smoke if they are not lit coming from the hopper.  Too bad, Ill go back to using a stone on my grill.  If they come out with a gas version of this grill it should resolve the heating consistance.

I would pass on this unit.

There is a serous flaw with this product, the burner starts to clog and rust just after a few uses. Uuni customer support is rude and has reality issues. They have the gall to blame the customer for all of their problems with the units, why would anyone waste the money? I returned my first one and was pushed to take a replacement which I am returning. Why are there 3 different design changes in 3 years? Because they put this paper weight on the market way to soon. Consider this: The new Uuni Pro doesn't include a pellet burner as part of the standard package, why? BECAUSE IT IS FLAWED! Save your money and buy a realistic better working product!!
