Great curb appeal for my backyard swim school!

Warning, this post is long! 
1. The chairs arrived in a damaged box, I found them delivered at another address 4 houses away from mine. The box looked like it had fell off a truck and pretty much fell apart when I opened it. The first chair took about 30 minutes to assemble, and I was very happy with the chair.  The second chair, however, was a nightmare. I worked for 3 hours and made 2 separate trips to the hardware store for help. Long story short, the holes to assemble were misaligned and the chair would not come together.  Very disappointing as I had purchased these for my husband to be able to sit comfortably outside after having open heart surgery 
2. Calling customer service is a headache. I was first told to ship the chairs back for a return-I explained that the box they were shipped in had fallen apart and I had nothing to ship them in, plus one of the chairs was completely assembled which meant I would have to take it apart. I was then told to package them in a garbage bag—there isn't a garbage bag made that is big enough to fit these chairs. I called again and was told my only option was to return them, I explained that I wanted to keep the chair I had assembled. I was given no other options. Third call, representative said they had processed the return and my credit card would be refunded. What did that mean? He said I could keep the chairs. Then I get an email from Walmart that my credit card would be recharged if I did not return the chairs! What? I am so confused! I responded and was told because it was an online order and the item is not in store that an exchange is not an option. So my only options are 1. Pay for 2 chairs when only 1 is useable or 2. Return both chairs and reorder (they chairs are now $100 more). Walmart customer service is harder, they won't even consider working to make the customer happy. My advice is to be aware of purchasing online, and from Walmart in general as the quality is sketchy.  I guess I'll be keeping one chair for the price of two!
