There are many Adirondack chairs to choose from. Based on the description and reviews this one seemed to be one of the better chairs and not as expensive. I purchased two and have no regrets. The chair is strong and sturdy. All of the pieces aligned properly and assembly was easy especially if you can use your own wrench or socket. My one critical comment is that this chair may not be great if you are taller than 6 ft. as it will start to hit you in the neck rather than support your head.

This is a great looking, very comfortable (more than wood) chair that should have a very long lifespan .Assembly:Assembly can be difficult for one person however one thing you can do to allow you to assemble this chair solo. Assembly does take a while especially if you only use the included hex wrench (~20 -30 minutes). If you happen to have the right size hex bits it will go much faster. Finally there are NO extra parts so if you loose something you have to find it and the packaging of the parts isn't the best so make sure you keep really good track of the parts. In addition hardware isn't packaged by step so you will need to keep track of which part is which after they are removed from the package for subsequent steps. Overall assembly is fairly easy and painless.Heavy and Sturdy.The chair is very sturdy - but is also heavy -- heavier than a soft wood chair by 50-60% The chair is very sturdy and does not have any wobble or play (if assembled correctly)Texture / Wood Like pitting:There is some pitting and texture on the parts that at first I thought was a defect. I came to realize it is probably intentional and actually makes the chair look authentic (similar to wood and natural products. I now appreciate it and consider it an enhancement -- It should also make any other blemishes that may occur less noticeable similar to the "distressed" phenomenon. I took some representative images in pictures 5-8Comfort:This chair is very comfortable and does have a bit of give / flex like wood.Durability:these chairs will last a LONG time with very little upkeep. I don't anticipate anything will fail but if a screw rusts etc. those can be replaced.Final thoughts:I am extremely pleased with the stability, comfort and appearance of this chair. It does impart a wood like look, it is comfortable and low maintenance. I highly recommend them

Great durable chair for outdoors / pool side.  Feels great and pack up to save space.

I love the wide style arms. Comfortable lean to the back but it is still supportive. There is plenty of room for cushions if desired. Put it together easily and stays secure. Great hardware. Super simple to keep clean. Light enough to move around by myself but heavy enough that it sits solid in the wind. Very comfortable to sit in for hours. Fantastic, solid paint coating. Can safely hold a heavier person.

Excellent craftsmanship!

I bought 4 of these chairs for my backyard fire pit. Instructions were very easy to understand. Not sure about previous post that says it's difficult to assemble and the holes don't line up. Mine lined up perfectly. Remember to just snug the bolts and not too tight during assembly. The first chair took me about 25 minutes and the next three took about 15 minutes each. Great chairs and very comfortable!

The product is sturdy, and the engineering is ok. You will find with a certain body type (larger) that sitting for long periods of time in the chair may cause some pain in your back. Might need cushions or maybe the angle is just strange. These are great,love it

This folding adirondeck chair was very easy for my 2 grandkids to put together. It comes with very easy to read instructions with pictures. It folds up and then stays in place with 2 pins that are attached to chains. It is very easy to keep clean. It is weather resistant. It is very well made and sturdy.

Wonderful chairs! These replaced wooden Adirondack chairs and I love them. They look nice and easy to put together. They are on an outdoor patio without a cover, I expect they will wear well and hold up to the elements. Would buy again!

Great Chairs

Absolutely beautiful chairs.  Comfortable and easy to clean off.  
I did have to clear out some of the holes and drill 4 on each chair.
The instructions are horrendous but once you figure it out, it's easy.  First chair took me 1.5 hours but each chair after took 30 minutes.
All of its worth it for the final product.

Great chairs!

This chair was pretty easy to assemble but you def need 2 people to do it. Due to weather, we finally got to actually sit I. Them yesterday and I noticed that it moves a little bit when sitting in it. I guess that's because it's foldable but it seems sturdy enough. As for comfort, it seems to be as comfortable as an Adirondack chair can be. I may had a pillow. I purchased 2 to make sure they were nice enough and have decided to buy 2 more. Great chair for the money.

Nice chair for the money

This chair is perfect for an evening out on the lake or just relaxing in the backyard. Sturdy, the chair is turquoise, which is exactly the color we needed. The assembly was not too difficult for the average guy. It holds up to 300+ pounds, so we don't have to worry about our chairs should someone weightier sit on them.It is made of a weather-resistant wood/substance, unlike my teak ones that always need maintenance. It is a bit pricey for just one, but I think the price is worth it for what you get.
