[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This smoker gasket has really improved my smoker, it sealed our smoking chamber perfectly. A great thing about the fiber wool material is that it withstands high temperatures. This 15ft length made is easy for me to be able to cut into pieces to fit my smoker perfectly.

I could definitely tell the difference after putting them on. I have A Highland and a word of warning: Don't put any on the top part of the cooking area or your lid won't close

Great product

Finally gave it a try on my Expert grill kamado and it work beautifully,I was able to maintain low temperatures for ours on my grill,meaning the gasket did it's job

Not bad

So far so good. Works as advertised, sealed off smoke and heat leaks. We shall see if it is durable, that is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, not yet sure about durability.

Great Idea/Bad Execution

I am a once-a-month smoker and purchased my Highlander smoker in April, so I have fairly low mileage. I bought the gasket and put it on both the smoker box and firebox before I built any fires, so it was a factory fresh surface. The gasket on the firebox fell off after the 2nd fire. Today I have 2 racks of ribs smoking and lost the strip of gasket nearest the handle. The adhesive strip separated from the fiber, not from the metal. When the gasket was in place, I was very happy with the performance.

Adhesive Fail

I installed prior to seasoning cleaned well with  alcohol after 3 smokes the adhesive lost it's hold and came off mid smoke. It worked great while installed just didn't last.

Fell right off

I bought this and after ine use half odbitbhas fallen off...what a waste of my hard earned money...
