Love the concept..love the grill. I do Voice Over work and I was going to give you guys some free advertisement on YouTube..but it would really help if my grill was heating properly without Holes in the bottom from the rust...FIX THIS...the grill looks great...keep it great.

It's a great grill. In fact this is my second one. I love the set up, but....mine rusted after just a few months and uses. I even had purchased a high quality cover, but it did not matter. Always happens with this grill. So maybe should be a more affordable price for what it actually is. Char broil company is usually very nice to work with though. I have not called about this specific problem. Pictures attached, reflect use from mid May to beginning of Oct..

We have owned this grill for about a year and half.  We always clean and cover the grill when not in use.  On the gas side, the bottom head shield is rusted through, the burner tents are showing excessive rust.  On the charcoal side, the charcoal pan needs replacing.  The front caster wheels broke off last summer.  We use the grill 2-3 times per week.  The grill cooks food very well, and it's relatively easy to clean.  We really expected better quality from Char-Broil for the price of this grill.  This is the second Char-Broil grill we've owned and we won't be purchasing another.

Good Idea/Poor Quality

The grill has all the features I was looking for.  It was relatively easy to put together.  Took about 90 minutes with my wife and I working on it. I've taken apart and put together a lot of things, I'm a former grease monkey and now Mechanical Engineer so maybe had a bit of an advantage on this front.  

Was extremely disappointed in the arrival condition of the grill. It was shipped on a pallet.  The box was quite large, and it weighs about 200 lbs. but apparently was was treated poorly in transit and wasn't adequately packaged to survive the trip.  It's nothing that strongly affects the basic performance of the grill but,  pretty much of a bummer considering it cost nearly $400. The very thin gauge sheet metal used is easily bent and the whole grill appears to be sprung a bit so the doors don't come close to lining up. I've tried loosening and adjusting but it's not going to ever really line up.  Had to bend the back sheet metal and hinge alignment of the right hand grill cover to get it to open and close smoothly.  It's only letting me attach two photos. Have many more.  Probably 6 or 8 areas where the sheet metal is buckled and paint has chipped away. Again, doesn't affect performance and I dont' want to wait the probably month or two it would take to resolve if I turned in a claim.

To much to deal with after purchasing

The entire process was a pain and when the grill arrived it had many issues. I ordered this 3/31 with an expected arrival by 4/12. It did not come Monday. Walmart did give me a 10% discount. The customer service rep was great but in all honesty I believe he messed up because he ended up knocking $100.00 off. I wasn't going to say anything and figured it was now worth my wait. It arrived on Thursday, but I couldn't put it together until today (Friday). So when I look at the box it had black plastic wrapping tape around 3/4 of the box. When I took that off the outside bottom of the box was damaged and basically fell off. Then I start pulling out parts and there were multiple damaged parts. But, I figured I could make it work, take pictures and call and get a discount. So, I forged ahead with assembly and took pictures along the way. Then I get to the doors. The left door was fabricated incorrectly and quite honestly I'm not even sure how. The top part that holds the peg of the right door was also fabricated incorrectly. I'm no genius, but I can follow directions and they were pretty simple. Unfortunately, at this point I'm so upset I decide to just call Walmart and get a return set up. I will be purchasing my next grill at Lowe's tomorrow. It's a shame because I've been looking forward to this grill like it was Christmas.

Late Delivery, Damaged, and Incorrect Fabrication

Very bad delivery and the package damaged and they kept outside with heavy raining, the package very heavy 200lb and I can't move it inside the house

Bad Delivery

Due to the fact that my order was delayed, I had to go and pick up the order at the warehouse of Pilot Freight Services. At the beginning the order was supposed to be delivered on 03/30/2021, and when I called costumer service, they told me it was going to be delivered on 04/05/2021.  After the pick up and unboxing, I noticed that the grill had some some big dents on several sides. I did not return it because I needed it. Overall I am not satisfied from when I have placed the order to when I finally set up the grill.
