With just a couple mods, this thing is stellar. Without mods, smoke will leak but faintly, not nearly enough to have a negative effect on the cook. Holds temps extremely well and for a good period of time. Have had no issues thus far and don't anticipate any neither. Recommend every day 10/10.

Incredible!

Seasoned this bad boy with some good ol' Pam and Pecan wood chunks. Added some gaskets to seal off the cooking chamber and firebox. Made a baffle from sheet metal and extended the smoke stack inside with dryer vent tubing so that it's at grate height. Cooked 3 spareribs, 2 beef chucks, sausages, beans, and BRISKET!! Couldn't be happier!

This smoker is a BEAST!!!!

I use this grill to smoke brisket every Saturday! Took me a couple times to get it just right with a new grill, but now it comes out perfect. I also use this two times a week during the week to cook hamburgers and steak. Always comes out better than any grill I ever had! No issues for me!

I had 3 slabs of baby backs and  my neighbor bringing me a pork butt to smoke. 
This does an amazing job of holding temperature .

Impressive

Bought this smoker about a week ago. I've used it at least 8 times so far. Yeah...that's once a day and twice on one of those days. It's awesome. I love that it just has a door on the main barrel to open instead of opening half the barrel itself. Doesn't take long to get going. I think the only downside to it is that it leaks smoke out a couple of joints, but that's easily fixable with some high temp sealing. I would definitely recommend this grill. Best bang for your buck.

Need a smoker? Yeah, this'll do!

It's a great smoker and seems very durable. Don't forget to season it before you cook in it. Not super impressed with the firebox door, not a good seal and the door hinges should be made more permanently (the door slides off if not careful) Would buy again

Great smoker

My Beautiful Bride bought this for me last spring and I had put off writing a review until I could get a few good cooks in. I have to say that it is very well made as long as you spend the time needed to put it together properly. Use a good high temp sealer when putting it together and it should work great. I went the extra mile and installed gaskets and lockdown plates on the doors and I have no problems with getting it to temp and keeping it there after learning how it reacts to different media whether it be wood or charcoal or a mixture of each.

SMOKIN!!!

The end of the grill where it attaches to the smoker section was welded at the wrong position. The hole is setting kind of sideways instead of at the bottom. So when we attached the smoker section, it is not at the correct position. Will be calling the warranty number tomorrow.

Once I find out about the warranty, I may change this rating

Bout this grill a few weeks ago, seasoned the grill like an competition pitmaster would!
Paint began chiping off on first use, continued to use and just keep seasoned so it wouldn't rust, first 18hr smoke an now the fire box is trash,  grates deformed,  door wonth function,  grill has turned white what shouldn't have happened at 225 smoke, this is very sad! Was going to go for the XD but now glad I didn't waste the money definitely not even a home grill better yet a "competition " model
