how well would this sit in place on cement porch can you pull it or no?

Yes, although I cannot provide how many feet of 3/4&quot; hose it will hold.  I have stored two hundred feet of 5/8&quot; with no problem.

I got my first Suncast hose reel 25 years ago now I have my second one because the first one just wore out, not a bad ride in my book for a hose reel so this one should be my last. Best price was at Walmart shipping was free and it shipped quickly.

I am very pleased with its performance and am very careful when operating it due to its low cost.  I really believe if operated in accordance with the instructions provided, it will perform and last for a long time.  I bought two, and reordered two more which were a slightly different model and at a sale price.  Highly recommend .

I bought this Sunday wicket team hose reel two weeks ago. It is very convenient and it does feel the garden hose very evenly across. It is light but strong.

Love it

I was nervous about this purchase because the reviews have been spotty. I'm very relieved and satisfied with this hose reel and THANK GOODNESS it didn't let us down. We have multiple mulch beds that span the perimeter of our 1/2 acre backyard and needed a long hose to reach them all. I'm finicky about organization and aesthetics so having a way to hide all that hose was important to me and functionality and ease of use was just as important. We have not been disappointed. The reel swivels from side to side based on the direction we pull it (used the 2 anchor clips to secure it down... 2 worked just fine for us) and it rolls back up easily. My 75 year old MIL was amazed when she reeled it up a couple weeks ago if that tells you anything. Gave 4 stars because our hose is 150 feet and I'm unsure if 200 feet or more would've fit very well. (see pic)

This hose cart does not work for me since where the hose is connected to the cart is very difficult to connect. This connection point is made of plastic will not hold up as it will be exposed to the sun.

Hideaway garden hose reel

Miserable device to work with.  Almost identical unit I was replacing had brass hose connections, and I expected this one would too.  Sorry - they are plastic on input and output.  The output hose connection is very difficult to see when you are trying to make the connection, but very easy to "cross thread" and ruin the threads if you don't get it on correctly.  I junked it and bought a metal unit.
Delivery was made when we were out.  Delivery person did the right thing and put it on the porch in a spot difficult to see from the street or sidewalk.  Good job on that part of the purchase.

The reel failed withing the warranty period but Suncast refused to honor the warranty stating "it was subjected to extreme use beyond the design intentions of the product".   There is no reason to suspect this except as a way to not live up to their responsibility.   The hose reel was used exactly as intended.   Pull out the hose, use it then use the crank to reel it back in.   Then, when pulling it out the last time it cracked .

Their approach appears to be that if it broke it must be due to something the user did.  

DO NOT BUY FROM SUNCAST!!!

Suncast does not honor warranty

The hose reel is supposed to be light colored as in the picture. What I received is dark brown. I spent extra money to get the lighter one.

Once again, I get the wrong item!
