The Veranda fabric has a water resistant treatment on the fabric face that helps it shed water. Water should bead up and roll off as long at the cover is fitted properly and water is not allowed to pool. It is best if snow is brushed off periodically. Snow should not be allowed to build up and stay on the cover all season. The fabric also has a laminated PVC backing, this gives the fabric stability and keeps moisture from penetrating through to the furniture underneath. Cushions should be removed from the furniture before covering. If the cushions are left on and condensation builds up under the cover, the cushions could possibly mildew.

I actually used this cover during the winter this year to cover our hot tub. I have to say that it must have harmed the water repellent feature of this cover because when it rains the cover and all that is under it gets wet. I had to end up purchasing another for our table set because of this.

From my own experiences you need to clear the cover off after a big snow because the material can not hold up to the added weight and will rip. I've gone through 2 covers now from the added weight pulling at the material and ripping from snow and ice. Rain and 0 degree weather the cover holds up well.

My patio furniture cover held up very well during the winter with snow and 0 temperatures. But because of the heaviness of the snow, I recommend using an empty gallon milk bottle. Fill the bottle around half full of water and secure upside down in the middle of the table. I was able to do this with my table as it had a whole where a shade umbrella fits. I then placed the patio cover over the entire set with the middle resting over the bottle. The water freezes and the bottle keeps the weight of the snow off the table. This was advised because my table has a glass top.

Several sizes are offered, I measured table with chairs and ordered the largest size since our chairs are oversized . Has straps to tie down

Due to protective coatings on the fabric, we do not recommend putting the covers in the washing machine or dryer. Clean your cover with a soft brush and lukewarm water. DO NOT USE SOAP as it may remove the protective coatings added by the factory. Air dry.

can i put veranda furniture covers in the washing machine?

The small fits round tables and two standard chairs up to 54" dia, 23" H. If your table and chairs measure at 54" or smaller, the cover should fit.

Fits my round 48" table and 4 chairs quite well

Because all chair and table sets are different, you need to measure the diameter of your table, with the chairs pushed up to it. Take into consideration if your chairs are high backed, because their height will take up some of the material. Add some extra inches for high backed chairs. If unsure of your measurements, drape a sheet over the table and chairs, and measure the diameter of the sheet that you draped over the table and chairs. Compare that to the measurements listed in the Walmart specifications under the item description.

My ONLY complaint is: I wish it also had gromet holes on the sides to help tie it down.

I do like the 2 straps to hook onto the chairs, not real thrilled about the 2 draw stings.

covers my chairs & table

I loved it. Great quality it worked well. I was impressed with the quality of it.

I needed a new cover for my patio furniture as the one I had purchased seven years ago had finally torn due to rain, snow, etc. This patio furniture cover (large) easily covered my 36 sq. in. and four matching chairs. The tarp has ties around the edges that can be secured to the legs of the chairs which keeps it pretty much in place. I am pleased with this purchase and the price at Walmart was the lowest of all the stores I found on the Internet.

A decent, inexpensive cover for patio furniture.

I have bought these covers before for other things on my deck and patio and they are amazing . I live in Minnesota and you need tough covers plus they have Good wind straps on the bottom to go around the legs ,great material and great price these are a good buy!!!

Great but for the money

Ordered this to cover a very old real wrought iron table and set of chairs. It exceeded my quality expectations and has proven to stand up well to wind, rain, and freezing temps. I'd sure recommend it to any one wanting a really good patio table/chair cover.

Great patio table/chair cover

We bought this for our new patio furniture for the winter season and it looks great! The colors are nice and so is the material. We have 6 chairs and I bought it thinking it would cover 6 chairs but it only covers 4, which is why I gave it four stars. The tie down to the chairs is great too.
