Definitely will be buying more of these. Very well constructed. As for how they sound, I have not compared them to any other XLR or RCA cable as I am using them on a new system but there's no dropouts or any issues whatsoever after a week of use. A coat hanger can transmit sound signal as well as any high priced cable but for this price, you are getting a cable that is designed to last and not experience wire breaks which is what you should look for in a good cable.

I have a pair of these Monolith cables connected between my Rotel RC1570 pre and a pair of Emotiva UPA1 amps.  I can't say I hear a difference between these and the unbalanced connections I was using previously, but I don't care, they look great, seem to be very well constructed and fit perfectly.

This cable comes close  the performance  of  my $1400 Audioquest Earth XLR. ... any on par with my $400 Shunyata Venom XLR

Very very good cable

These cables are well built and adhere to the high standard Monoprice places in its products.  The high quality metallic XLR connectors on these balanced cables add to the quality of the cables.  The cables are flexible, durable and attractive due in part to the braided nylon covering.  These cable work as designed and are highly recommended for audiophiles who have equipment with XLR ports.  I had purchased some of the Monolith RCA interconnects earlier for another piece of equipment that does not have XLR ports, and I couldn't be happier.  Both sets of cables were constructed to the same high caliber.

Well Constructed XLR Cables

Connecting my new amp and preamp using these XLR cables turned my stereo from a 'kiddies first stereo' to woah! I'm hearing things on records that I listened to hard through the 70s & 80s that  didn't hear before.
I give them a thumbs up! I would recommend these XLR cables to anyone.

Hello new music

Well constructed cable. None of the audiophile mumbo jumbo, but feels and sounds well constructed. I think for the price they cannot be beat. Definitely feel it is a step up from my unbalanced cables previously connecting my oppo udp-205, to my Adcom GFP-715. Thanks Monoprice!

Good solid construction!

This is a Great cable! I use it every day to connect my wireless receiver to my mixer.

Heavy Duty

To be honest, I wasn't expecting anything special but was I wrong. I am now hearing very clear highs along with subtle overtones and a larger sound stage. A well defined, focused image with lots of air. A significant improvement over the old cables. I just ordered RCA Monolith cables for the turntable hoping for the same improvement for my vinyl.

Monoprice XLR cables are well made and sound great.  Why spend thousands on audio cables when these exist?

Excellent audio cables

Great XLR balanced audio cables, well constructed. I have six of them. PS Audio BHK system DAC to preamp, preamp to monoblock amplifiers. Anthem STR preamp to amplifier. I'm very satisfied with these cables, as well as the they look. My only complaint, I'd like to see more of a selection of lengths.
