I like to cushioned top, the dimensions of this file cabinet, and the wheels. However, I the whole cabinet tips forward unexpectedly when the lower drawer is pulled out. One solution might be to weight the bottom of the cabinet. Another solution would be to include a stopping mechanism to the front on the bottom to catch the cabinet when the drawer is pulled out.

I have just received this cabinet, and the build quality with cushion and casters is excellent.

However, as noted in another review, the cabinet has a dangerous tendency to tip forward on the front edge of the lower drawer when the lower drawer is opened fully. This happens whether or not the weight of the hanging files is shifted to the front of the drawer or the back. With all the weight to the back, the cabinet does not tip, but as soon as you move any files forward to access the contents, the cabinet tips immediately.

Clearly, the cabinet is not balanced correctly, in that the forward wheels are too far back to provide safe opening of the lower drawer. This can be remedied by attaching weight to the back of the cabinet, or by adding some heavy, flat objects to the bottom below the lower drawer, but both of these solutions are indicative of a design flaw that has not been addressed..
