Strong sticks for 7a!

I'm updated my review from last year. At the time I was using the nylon tip more but these wood ball tips have better balance and feel and last longer! Yeah the tips wear down after them taking a good long beating but the promark and VF sticks I used to play with the tips would chip prematurely way earlier than these and no way I planned on continuing wasting $ on a pair when these Vaters are more durable and cheaper! These are the best sticks I've ever used in 40 plus years of drumming.

I've tried many sticks over the last 25 yrs and keep going back to these. Nice weight/balance, durable, sounds nice on the ride.

Fantastic drumsticks!

If you're looking for a good 7a drumstick that lasts long and is affordable these Vater Manhattans are it. I've been using the nylon tip sticks but decided to give these a shot and it's now my favorite stick. If you are looking to save money and you use between a 7a or a 5a in other brands in diameter, Vater is the answer. Other brands have recently gone up in price but Vater sticks have not and seem to be more durable also and thats a good thing. These are pretty light and feel great in the hands.You can fly around the kit with these ,yes light,but made strong for heavy hitting too.Use these for any genre of music,you wont be disappointed!

Way too much for a 7A

These are excellent quality sticks by all means but these things will break a Med Ride in half. I use a ProMark 7A which is a 7A. These are much heavier and much more substantial. If that's for you then Whoopty Do!

Love them!

I have used these socks exclusivity for about 10 years now. I've used everything else before finding these. The have a great weight and balance. I primarily play gospel music, mixed with some jazz, funk, rock, etc...
Once you get used to the extra 1/4", it is hard to justify using anything else.
