Best of everything in one package.

I have been using this amp since 2018 in our Dance Band in Atlanta... Pushing a hundred gigs, rarely push volume past 4.
No need for any other pedals, just get the Fender foot pedal and your set. I actually found a small road case and mounted it inside to protect it.

Great Tone! extremely versatile Bass amp and also a great sounding Guitar Amp

I originally was looking for a strait Rumble 40 (all analog) but came across the Studio version and decided that especially for recording and also guitar use that I wanted the versatility that the Studio version offers. Tons of great amps, reverbs, delays and great modulation. Top notch quality after I did the firmware update on 6/29/23…. I downloaded the Fender Tone app on my iPhone and was controlling the amp via Bluetooth within minutes of plugging it in… And I'm not a tech type of guy. Loved that the amp itself is all analog. Great feel and tone for electric guitar and bass…. Tons of amps, cabs, reverbs, modulation and delays to choose from. Piece of cake controlling it all from my iPhone. With the optional foot switch you the have access to a 1 minute looper and tuner as well as changing presets and turning FX on and off..For electric guitar I turn the high frequency horn off. Switch on back. Overdrive pedals in the amp are really good sounding after tweaking them. The Bassman and Showman amps are superb! Go figure…I like them as well for bass, just EQ differently .. I'm an analog tube player. Well at least I was until I bought this amp. No digital artifacts. Great for small to medium rooms for bass or guitar. For what it is, this amp is a winner. Headphone out, Aux in for music . Stereo fx loop…XLR out for PA or recording …I still have more to be learned. The interface is so easy to use… highly recommended

Awesome Amp ... worth the wait

I waited for three years to buy this amp. I was always looking for it to go "ON SALE" but it never did.

If you wanted it ... You were going to pay $ ... regardless, and used ones are rare and the price drop was never going to save you much for a "USED" unknown amp that has an unknown history of use.

I chose Sweetwater, instead of buying from Fender, because I have never had any issues with them, they're really helpful, and I have a sweet tooth ... I love getting candy with my order when I open up the package.

The amp sounds great and is plenty of juice to push the air molecules with attitude or just being mellow in full chill mode. It came loaded with 100 preset tones to choose from, of which about 5 of them are what I tend to play with the most ... it took me a week to go thru all of them to narrow it down to a manageable list. Next on the list is to start playing with modifying those tones and making them my own.

Deffineatly looking forward to that ... Thus far, I am quite pleased.

Now, do I get a candy care package for this review?

Practice combo amp with a host of sound sculpting options

Looking for a practice amp with a host of sound sculpting options? you don't have to look farther than the Rumble Studio 40. My criteria for a new practice amp was modest power, small footprint and (most importantly) I wanted options to produce some great tones. For comparison, I tried combo amp options from Orange, GK, Boss all priced at a similar price point to the Rumble studio. Each amp had it's own tone character however, with the Rumble Studio, Fender supplies a number of built in cabinet/amp/pedal simulations that cinched the deal for me. Any tone I wanted to try was a new signal chain away. Add to this, the Fender Tone application running on a mobile device which connects to the amp via Bluetooth. The app makes modifying the signal chain beyond easy - many sounds I wanted to experiment with on may pedal board are built into the amp. Small form factor, solid sound and built-in amp modeling; what's not to love at this price point?
