Sweet Ol’ Strings!

Smooth as silk with a very nice thud on the bottom. Excellent in the pocket.

Okay, but I liked my old set better

I checked out these Rotosound strings and was curious as to how they would sound, so I bought them. I was replacing my old set of Rotosounds, the Black Nylon wrapped Flatwounds. I really loved those strings, so smooth and mellow. When I finally got the new strings I was excited to hear them. At first I wasn't very impressed with the sound but the sustain was excellent. After a while of playing them I became more adjusted to the sound. They do sound better than than the old strings and with a pick they sound even better. I had a set of La Bella 760FS Flatwounds on my bass previous to switching to the Rotosound Nylon wrapped and those had to be some of the smoothest strings I ever played. These are just a tad rougher and my fingers can feel it but I'll get used to them. My nest set may be a the La Bella nylon wrapped, just out of curiosity.

great sounding strings

The strings are smooth, and let you slide up the neck without the noise. and they are easy on the fingers. The sound is amazing.

Brought my Jazz Bass back to life!

I had not used my Jazz Bass in a while and the strings were old and crunchy. These Rotosound Jazz were just what it needed. Articulate and punchy. Perfect for the Jazz Bass.
