Shure sm58 wireless mic

This is a great mic for breakout rooms and small meetings

I purchased five of these mics, the quantity the manufacturer states you can use at the same time. Although I was unable to get five to work at the same time, four performed flawlessly. The range is quite good – I was able to use in an emergency situation outdoors 100 feet through bushes and a glass window.

I like the frequency range. I never have to worry about RF interference.

This mic is ideal for small breakout rooms and is especially useful for sessions where no audio technician is present. I also use it for client-operates because it is so easy to use and scan/program. It is for the most part plug and play.

The only feature I'm not keen is the transmitter has three modes ON-MUTE-OFF. The light turns green when on and orange when it is muted. I've found this confuses the user as to whether the transmitter is on or not. I prefer the way Shure BLX mics work: there are two modes, ON and OFF. Practically-speaking, there is no need for a mute button.

Excellent Wireless System

This little system is great. Super easy to operate and has not had any drop outs. I also got a body pack, lavalier mic and instrument cable. They all fit nicely in the case it came with (I notched out a slot for pack) and makes a great wireless kit. My guy Alberto wanted to make sure I knew I t can only operate one at a time- meaning you cannot have guitar and microphone at same time. I knew this, but thought it worthy of note. That said, this thing is like a 200' cable. I have handebit to speaker who took off through a crowd and got real gutsy far away-a good 80 real feet-with every bit of 10" people between him and receiver which was only set at table height. This thing not only didn't drop out, it sounded amazing. I fretted over the questionable reviews of more expensive systems, and trusted the good reviews on this. I am So GLAD I did. This system is great and I recommend it to any wine.
