Great Active Sub

Only thing i dont like is the design but over all it does its job very well

Chubby and Lovely

This is a prelim review prior to me Dj'ing a Block Party. This thing is exactly what you think of when it comes to bass. Fat Full low end and can hit the Low end at high volume and keep moving without fading. I had bought the Mackie 15" thump and am returning that guy, its nowhere close to this even ay low Volumes. I have it paired with Alto 410 powered speaker, and it sounds full - The Alto's are not bad at all and I am happy with them. I Dj'd a street festival here in Chicago and they did well, the Mackie on the other hand was at full blast but just sounded like you were hitting a stack of cardboard with a bat, there was a thud but no articulation in the bass. The Pole mount in the Turbo does not have a threaded bass, which i was curious about no biggie the Pole i was using for the Mackie from On Stage has a removeable thread mount so im good and that pole has a Rubber gasket to snug up the mount up but yeah i wish it had a threaded mount. When adjusting the variable boost the sound continues no drop where with the Mackie when adjusting the preset and or variable X over frequency the sound cuts out until you stop adjusting the knob or you move to the next preset, I thought that was annoying. I do wish there was another set of handles on the top like the Mackie because it makes adjusting the speaker way easier. Yuo can grab the front Vens and adjust but the Handles on the back seem odd because if carrying it the face of the cabinmate points to the floor so if you set it down you would start scuffing the front of the cabinet so carrying it using the handles will be awkward. I love the quality casters this comes with but we will see if I truly wheel it all over the place if there's a rough surface, i will be crazy nervous that going over asphalt all the bouncing could present an issue with the amp. This is replacing a traditional set up where i used a Carvin 18" Cabinet and a 2500 watt Amp, the speaker cab was relatively light but the amp rack with the separate crossover power supply etc was heavy as heck and now this all in one solution is gang money i truly hope it lasts. Easy recommended item if in the mood for Sub bass.

Killer Subs!

Good lord these babies shake and hit hard! Sound quality is excellent! I've had 2 of these subs for 3 years and have had no issues at all! They are paired up with 2 sets of JBL825's and you can hear this system across town! Of course 3 years ago, these subs were half the price of what they are going for now. So glad I got them when I did. These subs are heavy and built like a tank! Buy one or two or four. You will not regret it. TurboSound knows how to make a quality sub hands down!

The best sub Turbosound ever made

I've had Turbosound gear for years. I have a pair of these ans also the iQB the M 18 is a much harder hitting robust sub. I wish they would add this design to the IQ lineup because of the updated electronics w/ Ultranet etc, but don't let that keep you from these monsters!

This is your THEY DON'T MAKE THEM LIKE THEY USED TO

I don't get excited with just any subwoofer. I know about subwoofers,i built myself some before this one came out. I know the design has a lot to do with the power it can handle. Not sure if this fall in the horn loaded type, but i do know a lot of companies don't even want to mess with these type, cause air volumes, and rest of the parameters has to be very precise, or it wont sound good. On the other hand, if it is precise, this type of sub can put out a lot of power, with very little effort. Im glad turbosound decided to make this sub. I knew when i saw it i had to try one, and my God, i was not dissapointed. i was probably one of the first ones that bought one of this. Best sub ever. Totally recommended.
